Quoted from Whridlsoncestood:Fits nicely next to Metallica I think.
Definitely! If anything could be more rock'n'roll than a Metallica pinball machine, Andrew WK might just be it.
WHEN IT'S TIME TO PARTY WE WILL ALWAYS PARTY HARD
Quoted from Wotto:I think Swampy suggested in a thread on Pinside that Stern should modify that so it ONLY comes up when an ANTICLOCKWISE orbit shot is made and stays DOWN at all other times - which I think would be PERFECT.
That sounds like a great idea. Tommy Lyman, can you hear me?
Quoted from schudel5:Ball goes in, ball gets shot out. Mystery is still flashing after the ball is ejected. Like I said, happens once in about 20 times.
That happened to me a couple times on a friend's Pro recently. It used to happen on my LE, but one of the updates appears to have eliminated it entirely. Maybe the LE fix didn't find its way into the Pro code.
Quoted from balselly:Just got my NIB Metallica Pro on 1/6/14.
What to do, what to do?
Play the hell out of it until you get good enough to stack fuel / coffin multiball / seek & destroy. Mod it later.
Quoted from Frax:If it's not as steep as I think it is, I'll be happy to jack it up... I'm sure it will be just like what happened on Tron where I actually ended up getting much HIGHER scores because it was faster and not as much side to side...
Yup. I jacked my Tron up to about 7.7, which made the game more fun and less lethal. I haven't measured the angle on my Metallica, but it feels similarly steep and plays better than it did with factory recommended pitch.
My steep snobbery has reached the point where I wish Stern would lower the rear bolt holes an inch or two (is there room?), so that games will play around 7 degrees with all four levelers all the way in.
I even put Stern legs on the rear of my '80s games. Proper pitch without wobbly levelers.
Quoted from cwell:1 every 3 to 4 times the ball gets stuck on the Sparkey magnet after multiball starts. Does this happen to anyone else? Sometimes I can Nudge it off, other times I have to hit it with a different ball.
Did you put mylar over the magnet core? I made that mistake. Magnet action chews up the mylar, which can then catch a ball stopped by the magnet. I learned you should only put mylar around bare magnet cores, not over them.
Quoted from Ruger:Do the inlane double hits work towards locks or CUI hits?
Doubled only for CIU hits.
Quoted from yoshootme:when in multi ball, and the snake eats a ball after completing picks , what makes it spit the ball out?
Timer, 20 seconds I think. Should be adjustable, too.
