Just bought a metalica pro again any one know what this is

And the gi wire was just sitting in the back box om guessing it goes here

The gi light were ripped out plugged them back in still don't know what all thoseights are hooked upike that though

Has anyone seen those connectors before I can't figure out what they are for and why someone put them on

I just dont know what it'd hooked into 3 different places on the board all I see is the 2 spinner mods added

2 of them are hooked on to the lights on the board I reached out to the guy I got It from who was selling it for a friend it definitely is tapped into the lights just don't know why

I reached out to the guy and he's going to ask the guy that had it I'm going to try and trace the lines tonight a d see if I can figure out it out was just hoping someone else would have had whatever this is lol

It has to be cause the 2 its on is the lighting

Maybe 2015 is the build date have to ask someone if there's looks like that

Oh okay thanks my other metalica was from 13 so it didn't have them they have the spinner mod on them I'm going to have to see where they hook to under the playfield cause right now they don't do anything

I guess there is nowhere to get the sparky helmet El wire from anymore I had it on my first metallica

Yea I should have kept mine last time anyone have that cemetery mod from them I'm starting over again modding first time was definitely easier

Okay thanks anyone habe the flipper fidelity speakers u have then on high or low what's the best setting for them or do u just play around with the speech and music in the settings

Yes it's a 2015 build date someone told me that's it's the led version they all have that I installed flipper fidelity but might have to go in the settings and mess with I some not hearing a big improvement yet

I gues I could move it to my high speed 2 and buy the other cause in mot impressed at all inless I need to to adjust the speech and music adjustments on metallica

I'm not hearing much bass at all though I have to turn the machine up over halfway to hear hardly anything

I'm going to reach out to flipper fidelity tomorrow if they can't help me tune it in I guess I will put it in high speed and buy pinball pro

I just rebuild my drop targets I noticed if I hit then hard the first one will not go down but it I hit it soft it will go down

My right back panel the flasher socket came apart trying to find a part number to order another one. They have 4 flashers back there and now with 3 it does look good

I meant it doesn't look good when they flash definitely can tell

The first pic is from the factory I can't find the replacement that's like that one it's not in the owners manual either I could make something work but woukd like to go back to the factory style

The positive and negative screw on top they have those little cardboard like washers to keep them from touching each other has to be a part number on them somewhere

Had this happen a few times I get an extra ball it awards me it on the dmd and when I drain game ends no extra ball anyone have this happen cause it's definitely registered the hit

What setting is that I looked thru them

I found it was set on no extra balls

I picked up a total lightshow from a guy that bought it back in 15 and never took it out the box i know u need 9 of red blue and white anyone with it what is the best leds to get

Making a metallica topper project joe helped me design the art work for this its that uv holographic print i have pinduino driving the light show waiting for my 6 volt led strip to come in for the UV light in the back of the topper pinduino led strip in front i have a micro fogger that has a trigger u can run to the sparky selonoid to make it go off im still trying to figure out how to make him shake i have the selonoid and bracket extra but i think It would put to much drain on the board to try and go jump off of that selonoid to the other one i will figure something out sparky got bqck today from being painted the orange and green have the uv in them would be great to add the snake mod its the only other custom think i want to do hoping skinny vinnie will make me one we will see got line out many many thanks to joe at pingraffix eric pinduino steve at pinball refinery and modfather all have helped me out maybe someone will have an idea on getting sparky to shake in the topper also waiting on my custom painted sparky shooting rod
I want to add 2 spot lights on the side of sparky like in the game to light him up have to find what led is in there for that

When the uv light comes in and i do a few more things im going to put a you tube link on here it looks pretty cool in person its slowly coming ways to go though wanted to share

No its really not i have posted on pinside for years had over 25 different machines . Never came up ever but okay i would like some suggestions, this has been something i have wanted to do for along time .Would be open to advice it looks pretty cool in person.Really would like to find away to make him shake .I do have the bracket and selonoid for him though im pretty sure i could not jump off the selonoid behind him to get power up top.

I have an idea, trying to get power to the extra sparky in my topper. I know jumping off the selonoid in the game would draw to much off the board .What if i supplied it with its own power supply then some how use a relay to signal it to go off?

I know the guy who made the mod is sending me a replacement,which i will paint and replace with the new one.It was sent straight to chuck in Florida aka "Modfather".to paint. Didnt really catch it till it was shipped to me. The topper is still very early on and is very much a work in progress at this point still.

My right out lane went out last night ,i check3f it no power .Opened the back box L 18 is lit up . Does that mean i blew a transistor

Not getting any power to them at all .I did just install the total light show but that should not effect them the left side is working fine.

No actually its been rock solid so far . It was a 2016 build date and must of had a bad playfield,.because in 2017 stern sent him a new one,which is still solid .Yes before the install they did work,I just dont know what to check ,to see why its just that one side that will not come on .everything else works

None of the GI lights on the far right side are working thought it must be a fuse. After looking though they all look good

I did all the way back to the GI interceptor. Its bad and eventually none of the GI lights would come on . I took it off, a couple of people reached out and said it was an early 2015 total lightshow board and was not progrmmed for LED version.

On a better note, got sparky moving in the topper.Im about half way there with this. I have purple 6 volt lights coming in till the UV lights are back in stock.Hopefully the Uv strips will be back in soon,purple is only about 75 percent UV .My spot lights should be in next week.Will show it again when its about done.,

Its coming just slow. Not getting the effect without the UV lights,sparky was the micro fogger, just running out of room in the topper lol.

I meant sparky has UV colors oeange and green,that should pop with the UV lights

And the micro fogger i am still just dont know where i would hide it inside the topper now

Anyone with the powerblades have a problem with it setting off sparky? My right side works perfect but the left side sets off sparky everytime i plug it in.

I second the ones from PBL.They are really great i have had zero isues with them.

Anyone run across this yet? The ball is being ejected into the shooter lane way to hard. Is there a way to adjust this down? First time i have ever seen one act this way.

Its pretty hard. i just never heard it be that hard before .

It never used to be that loud and hard.just started about a month ago.

Thats one hell of a topper,even though i saw it earlier.Thats thinking outside the BOX!

I know it never used to be that loud. I guess if a few more chime in and say the same, i wont worry about it .Im still trying to track down my powerblades problem.When the left side is hooked up it sets sparky off,few people have told me its the cross opto setting it off . I have never messed with the optos by the cross but in test mode thay all work fine.

That topper has come along way like the skulls being interactive. Mine is almost done waiting on my el mod for the sparky in the topper.Also have to adjust the snake head so when the eyes light up when the snake is lit in the game u can see them better. Its almost there........

I need to make a better video with the lights off. To much glare from everything else.See if i can get someone to hold the phone while i vid next time lol.

I can not tell u in words how much of a pain it was to make this thing. It still is not done yet .....But almost. Thanks i will take some pics and get some one with the lights off to vid, highlight how interactive it is with each mode.

Really the only thing that was printed was the cemetary arch,fellow pinsider was nice enough to print that from a free file i found online. The plastic under the arch where the green light is at, is the old plastic i had from the original snake plastic.Everything else was bought and shipped in.The wiring and the ton of light strips in it are still a mess im working on putting it in a harness right now.Im still waiting on getting the el wire for sparky in the topper ,not done yet but i am getting closer lol.

Oh if i knew someone with a 3d printer that would make me some stuff for this topper it would be on another level lol.

Yes let us know, i was thinking about changing my flashers on sparky in the topper to give it a differnt look.

Mine only does it when the left side is hooked up ,right side is fine ,i even blocked the light coming from the blades didnt matter still set it off.

Not that i could find all they have available now is the lower part of the playfield.
