I did the full FF kit with 10" on my Premium, sounds great imo. Can't really do external subwoofer, my cats would chew the wires. Stupid cats.
One thing to watch for is the height of the subwoofer. On my Premium the slide rails were hitting the top of the woofer, the playfield couldn't close all the way, so I had to move one of them slightly. So if you have replaced the pegs on the Pro with slide rails you might have to adjust.

It's fine, it just wasn't zipped this time. I updated mine a few minutes ago and everything is okay. I don't know why .BIN files are associated with internet explorer on your computer, but it doesn't matter unless you double click on it to try and open it there.

Anyone else having problems with the combo champion screen only being properly colorized sometimes with the new ColorDMD rom? For me it is sometimes the solid color it was before the update, other times colored properly. I am going to re-update the ROM, just kind of weird.

If every time (or even every other time) a Color DMD was installed or updated I would agree with you. Sounds like a pretty small percentage of error though. I have seven, have moved them to different machines, updated ROMs, never an issue.
I get the frustration, but I think you are creating a mountain out of a molehill. Write down the key before updating, problem solved.

Call Cointaker, Automated, Game Exchange, Tilt Amusements, etc. There is a minimum advertised price they have to follow, but call and speak to a sales person for a better deal. All of them should be pretty close (within $100 of each other), main difference will be who has what you want in stock.
