Joining the club! Have a Metallica Pro LED on order and a Coin Taker red tremor shaker on the way. Can't wait. Out of all Stern pro games I think MET pro offers the most for the money.

I would be pissed too! Hopefully Stern helps out.
Clear issue or magnet too low or high from factory?
Quoted from Adios:I wouldn't let my incident deter you from getting this great game. I work in manufacturing, so I know things happen that can be out of your control. I'll talk to stern today and see if there is anything that can be done. I am really happy with this game other than this one issue. The reason I posted is to make other owners aware of a potential problem around the magnet area and that they might be diligent in protecting this area.
Thanks for posting this. I hope Stern sets you up with a new playfield or at the very least a vinyl overlay that matches that area. There is no reason this type of damage should be happening on a new game. I too just received a MET Pro from the most recent batch and will be installing mylar magnet protectors today.
I've owned my MET Pro LED for about two weeks now and I'm blown away. This is Stern's best pro to date in my opinion. Why?
1. Lots of features and toys: I can't think of another pro that has this many
2. Metal ramps, metal rails, metal ball guides: You don't even see this on some Stern premium and LE games.
3. Code is deep: Excellent ruleset
4. Audio: callouts by the actual band members
All of the above creates value and that is what Stern customers should expect when dropping almost $5k on a pinball machine. I've been critical of recent Stern games in the past and what they come with for the price but Metallica Pro is different and I hope Stern takes what they did with MET (in terms of value, features, complete code, etc) and applies it to all of their next games.
Quoted from GravitaR:Might be adding a mode to each band member when you complete one is a guess of mine.
Are these the rumored "band member modes" that have been talked about for a while? That would be awesome!
Quoted from Lethal_Inc:How would band member modes be implemented? Hit enough pic targets obviously to start, then when started maybe hit 2 ramps to collect within a certain time limit. Second band member, hit 2 ramps and 2 loops, so on and so forth with different targets to collect each one. Just a thought, would be fun!
Sounds like a good idea. Is it likely that that band member modes are still coming?
Quoted from GravitaR:Could be as lame as adding Super Bumpers / Ramps / Orbits / Targets or go bonkers with actual additional modes with objectives.
Second option please. I don't enjoy playing the super bumpers, ramps, etc type modes. They don't even seem like modes to me. Shot progression based modes please!
Band member modes would be great! Like Aurich said the chances are good for another update with Lyman owning the game.
In Sterns latest Facebook post about KISS code status they said the update would be coming along with "a few others". I wonder if one of those other code updates will be for Metallica?
Are band member modes in the game yet? The other day I finally paid attention to hitting the flashing guitar picks. It seems like nothing happened but I swear I saw a reference on the DMD say something about a band member, can't remember exactly what it said.
