I agree. I have the Polk PSW10 subwoofer connected to mine and between that and the shaker motor, the floor shakes when the machine is played. It is awesome!

It looks like you have the connector that is circled in your picture plugged into the AUX connector on the board and not the power connector. I am not sure if that has caused any additional damage or if it is just as simple as moving it to the other connector. Here is a picture of what mine looks like.

For me, I think it goes with the game version. I like Sparky for pro and premium but the other one for LE. This is based on matching the cabinet design.

Yes, the D version of the circuit board is the latest version. I bought my game used and emailed Stern back in February of 2022. They said the part was back ordered but soon after I received the board in the mail free of charge. You may want to reach out to them if you have not already. Was the board you bought through Marco not rev D?
