Hello All - Just joined the club and bought a fully moded 2017 Pro this weekend - Incredible game!!! I took out the snake body mod as it covered up some of the playfield and the pop bumper it covered is missing some parts.

PLEASE HELP - I was hoping someone could point me in the right direction so I can buy a new orange Metallica pop bumper cap and LED light. Did a google search and couldn't find what I needed Any suggestions/ Links are welcome. thank you!

Edit - Just purchased the mod set so I'm ok.

Got the LZ and my new Metallica Rockin in my new room. Both opposite game styles and both are great in their own way. Metallica LED is F’n awesome. Dog doesn’t mind the rockin tunes at all...

Purchased the cemetery gate mod recently on my new pro knowing that it is most likely not compatible with the ultimate light show mod I have on mine. Still think it looks great unlit, but is there any workaround to get it to light up? Tried using the standard directions with alligator clips with no success. Any tips appreciated...

I have to change out my slings tomorrow as I noticed both of mine are torn 1/2 and don’t have much life left. Just wanted to say Good call on the purple - I like it. Sorry no clue on where those others go....

I’m no expert by any means, but Just looked at my Metallica and mine looks flat and nothing like that. I also would stay away from that one.

Trying to install a trough light - need to find a bayonet styleGI - all of mine are the wedge base. Any guidance?

I have a 2018 Pro Led version I bought used. The lane guides are all the wedge style. It has the ultimate light show mod installed (not too sure exactly what that is) and I don’t see any bayonet GI’s.

Appreciate you chiming in - all of those locations on my machine are all wedge style. I can’t find any bayonets. Perhaps my game was modded w wedge style for some reason.

Looks like my game was modded and this trough light isn’t compatible.

I’m not too well versed in the tech as I’m still learning. I do know there are two different styles - wedge and bayonet. There are no bayonet style led’s anywhere on my playfield.

Appreciate the response. I just found a set of alligator clips from another mod from them that I didn’t use. Gonna see if that will work

So my fluorescent bulb In my back box was starting to go out recently and I’d have to wiggle it a tad for it to go on steady. Then a couple days ago it went completely out. My new one arrived yesterday and I Popped it in and it won’t light up. Is there something I’m missing or a way to troubleshoot? Driving me nuts!

So I bought a new fluorescent bulb as well as new starters and still nothing. Anything else I should be checking before I give up and just switch to LED’s as mentioned above.

I have a MET pro with the plastic apron bottom arch. Is it possible to upgrade to a nicer steel apron like I have on all my other games? I’d like to buy a purple powder coated one if possible as I’m going to powder coat my machine in the next few months.

Thank you for the lead on this. Been looking for this for over a year and Should have mine in a few weeks. Now I need to find a purpose for my old topper that came w my machine.

The previous owner and my Distributor could never get the spinners to work on My Pro when I bought it used. So I have 2 spinners in my game that don't do anything but spin - no sound effects or effects on scoring.

Would love to get them up and running but I'm clueless...way out of my league.

Hey there Cheeks - I’m not too far away from you - I have an extra pro translite I have in a lit frame and the 3-D snake mod piece for the ramp that I’m not using. I’d trade my pro for your premium if you want and we can work out something on the snake mod. I’ll take a picture of what I have after work today.

Yep - this is the one to get. All other toppers for Metallica pale in comparison to this one.

got mine a couple months ago. The 3M Stick pads it comes with seem VERY strong. No issues with mine so far - seems very Sturdy even with Nudging, but I would prefer a bolt-on method like that one guy made for himself. More of a peace of mind thing...

Hoping it’s a new version. I think the original Metallica is a great fun game, but it is also a very basic North/South game. Code was fun though. I had a pro for a while but traded it out recently based on rumors of a new one by next year. Hope the rumors are true - would love a new Metallica 2.0!
