Hey. I'm in the club! First new in box. Premium. It's a blast so far. Anyone else have problems with the ball gets stuck above the coffin? Sometimes it gets pushed down beneath the playfieldl and rolls to the left, never entering the coffin.

Thanks. Yes, this is what's happening. I did play around with the assembly and bent the metal subway ever so slightly where it was hanging up. It reduced the problem by about 50%. After a posted this, I found a reference to a similar problem from Mizzou in this thread from 4 months ago and PM'd him. He said the balls might be the issue - getting magnitized and sticking. Replacing fixed for him. I had put in Pinball Life high gloss balls immediately when I got it. Just switched back to original Sterns and haven't had the problem in several games. So, fingers crossed.

One other question: Are you supposed to hear a consistent electric hissing when the ball lock is ready? It sounds like interference, but I'm not sure if that's intentional so you have something audible to remind you to shoot for the hammer?

Note that it goes away as soon as the ball goes into the coffin. I moved the camera up to the speaker to show that it's not coming from there, but rather from the coffin mechanism itself. If this is normal, then I'm cool. Everything seems to work fine.

Hi Humph. I also got mine from Trent. I picked it up at the shipping terminal rather than having it delivered all the way to my house. I signed after just inspecting the box carefully. Did not open. Perhaps I should in the future. I did not have any damage that I can see. You can read some of the things that I'm trying to work out that are associated with a nib machine (or any machine).

On a side note, I decided to pick mine up at the trucking terminal rather than having it delivered to the house so that I could guarantee it would be here before people come over for Superbowl. But, in the future, I'm thinking of doing that for any other NIB machines I get. It was easy. I chose the date / time rather than waiting around for a delivery. And, I think it's one less ride on a truck to get it from the terminal to my home - so less chance of shipping damage.

I actually was wondering the reverse, whether the volume on Ghostbusters being so loud is expected. Helped a friend set up his new GB and was really surprised at how loud it was. Needed to turn it way down to be tolerable (sounds really nice though).
