What are some settings/volume level people are using to get the best balance between music and callouts?
Quoted from Eskaybee:External sub. Volume around 44-46. Sound attenuation +8; music attenuation default at 0 to prevent preemptive music cuts in end of ball sequence and game over.
Thanks. I have an external sub hooked up and I'll give those settings a try tonight when I get home.
Quoted from NightTrain:Can someone tell me what the guitar picks do? I know you can light them all in multiball and then hit the snake for add-a-ball. But what about the "band member modes"? What's the deal with those. How do you light one of those solid to work towards end of the line?
You got to light them twice to get one band member, 3 times for the 2nd band member, 4 times for the 3rd band member and 5 times for the 4th band member. I've only got end of line started one time and I choked and didn't even hit one shot.... Basically, you have to light them all 9 times to start end of line.

Quoted from NightTrain:Is that all you have to do to get to end of the line? Does collecting a band member do anything else besides work towards that? That would be a little lame....
There could have been more too it. I had run through all the multiballs and collected almost 50 million on a CIU so those could have also factored into the End of Line but I'm also still learning the rules. I would have to take the glass off and just hit the guitar picks to see if End of Line starts to know for sure.
Quoted from RonB:Are there any other differences to the new style to justify an extra $350?
Thanks for the info!
If you want the backbox decal, you don't have to order the new led pro to get it. Just get the one here:

Quoted from Pinfactory2000:Question about the hammer/magnet board...So I got a MET PR a few months ago. Came with the most up to date software (I believe and if not, I updated it) but the manufacture date was a year or so ago...The hammer/mag board doesnt look like the replacement/newest one...How do I know if I should replace it? Thanks
It was a Stern Service Bulletin. Just check your serial number. I had a premium and it had the newer board.
Date: 8/30/2013
Subject: Metallica L/E and Premium machines. New firmware for the magnet processor board along with software version V1.22 or higher optimizes the hammer/magnet feature.
Symptoms: False hammer strikes. Or the magnet will grab and hold the ball for a brief moment and release it without the hammer and disappearing ball mechanism activating.
Solution: Contact your distributor for a replacement magnet processor board # 520-6801-00. Please note. Games manufactured with serial number # 242584 or higher will have the new magnet processor board.
