Can anybody help with LED colors for Metallica? I have the LED version but all the white bulbs need some changing.
What ideas do you have for color schemes / bulbs that were replaced? Send me a link if its easier. Thanks.
Are you suggesting to leave it alone? Thought a few color accents would help. Not really looking to change everything.
Anybody attempted to "fix" their factory backbox speakers? I thought I read somewhere that you could desolder the cap on the left speaker for better sound out of them. Right now it seems as if most of the sound is coming from the cabinet speaker on the bottom. If anyone has done this let me know as I don't want to screw anything up. It appears the positive leads go to one speaker and the negatives to the other....if this is desoldered I'm not sure if it has to be rewired.
Yes I plan on a speaker upgrade but was looking for a solution for the time being.
Quoted from nighttaco:
I just got the game, how do I adjust the attenuation?
Attenuation is in the menu settings. Mine is at factory. Left it that way because during the bonus screens after the ball the music cuts out. My problem is all the sound is coming from the bottom...at first I thought maybe the plugs were reversed on the boards in the back box for cabinet and back box speakers but they aren't. I was hoping that cap was the answer but don't want to screw anything up. Anyone ever alter theirs using stock setup?
Anyone have the spinner mod on their pro? Trying to figure out if it's worth the 100 bucks or so...
Quoted from PoMC:
I have them and they're tied into the Total Lightshow package I have installed and that allows the spinners to play different sound effects in various modes.
You can put together your own spinner kit for a lot less than $100 too. But whichever method you choose to add them, I think it's worth it since I like spinners.
Hmm. Ok I'm interested. Any links or information on how to do this? If it's more for looks and feel then I'm in for the cheap route. I thought they added to game scoring especially during CIU. Apparently not. Any info is appreciated. Thanks.
I want to revisit the spinners on Met. Pro. Any help is appreciated.
I know on the pro the Hooked kit ties into the pic target. Doesn't do anything but make the drum sound.
I like spinners on a game, makes the shot feel complete. Wondering if anyone has bought the kit, or made their own.
Pinball life has spinners way cheaper....wondering if this could be replicated by sourcing parts. Anyone done this before? Anyone know if the pro has pre-drilled holes for spinners?
Thanks for anyone's help that has done this before. If you prefer a PM conversation, that is fine.
I have a set of spinners if any Pro owners would like to add them to their game. All wired and ready to install. PM for details.
I have a set of inserts for an apron I’m selling. Had them on my Pro and don’t have it anymore. Will work on Premium but spotlight would have to be removed. PM if interested
Get a shaker, pinnovators sub kit, and an external sub. Crank the sound up to at least 40 and prepare yourself....I guarantee you won’t stop smiling...
Check out the mod I creates for the gravestone hole in the playfield. Custom fit, fully reversible, no permanent modifications.
It’s printed, hand painted with added greenery and cleared. This was created with a Premium machine, but also works with the Pro.
Installs under the metal ball guides leading up to the cross.
Putting feelers out to gauge any interest in this. If there are enough people interested, then I will make a run of these and start a new thread. I do have a few already completed and ready to go. These do take some time to make by the time they are printed and hand painted. Pics show mod installed in a Premium with cross up and down, lights on and off.
Pricing to be finalized depending on interest level. Hope to be in the 40 range.
Contact me if interested. Thank you.
