Quoted from Guzz4851:

Anybody attempted to "fix" their factory backbox speakers? I thought I read somewhere that you could desolder the cap on the left speaker for better sound out of them. Right now it seems as if most of the sound is coming from the cabinet speaker on the bottom. If anyone has done this let me know as I don't want to screw anything up. It appears the positive leads go to one speaker and the negatives to the other....if this is desoldered I'm not sure if it has to be rewired.
Yes I plan on a speaker upgrade but was looking for a solution for the time being.

I'm also interested in hearing any solution here. I've got the music level to 15 and feel like if I don't have the volume 40+, I can barely hear the game.

Edit: I feel dumb. Apparently the reason I can barely hear the music is because I should not have the attenuation up all the way. The more you know..

Everybody here loves Stan Bush right? I replaced some of the music with songs from the soundtrack of Transformers the Movie (1986) using Pinball Browser. The song edits are pretty rough but I just threw this together to see if it was worth pursuing. The sound effects in the game go surprisingly well. Also, camera was poorly focused but wanted to upload this anyway in case people were interested in doing something similar.
