I'm in the club! Metallica pro (first model). Seems I'm swapping most of my Bally Williams games for Stern games. And metallica is just too good to not own it. Love the artwork on it. And off course will modify it like it's a pro led.

Anyone has a GI list, flasher list and insert list for the met swap from normal to led (just like the led pro)?

Transfo weighs less then the switched power supply now used.. hence the difference in weight I guess.

So upgraded my Met pro with leds so it matches the LED pro. I used the cointaker double leds (mostly wedge) like used by default by Stern.

I know most flashers used in the game are the #89 'flat 8'.
But I was wondering if that's also the type used behind the backboard.
The pro has 3 on the left and 3 on the right. Can someone confirm? or is the "#89 super 5" used there?

I have a met pro default, which I upgraded with all the cointaker leds (it looks really led pro now ).
But how are the backpanel flashers set up on a led pro, the 6 ones behind the backpanel? Mine shine now downwards because the classics bulbs where setup this way. Is this the same by default for the led pro or did they install them in a different way at Stern?

I found an Orion version (cover though but sounds great) with the same length. Or isn't it necessary to be the same length?

Can this be changed together with the song title at ball start?
Is there any other part of the game were a piece or One is used? To my knowledge there isn't any.

Can someone in short explain me how fuel works?
Also the playfield multiplier: Where do you see the active timer on it? And can you extend it by shooting the left lane?

Can you combine double scoring with the snake lock or is there no multiplier attached to this?

Nobody? I looked in the wiki rulesheet, but don't know how you can track the timer on the active fuel double scoring and the snake double scoring and if these both combined result in 4x playfield or not?

Quite important to now when to cash in on the superjackpots in multiball no?

Maybe (on the pro) the green light on top of the snake indicates the double playfield. As I don't allow it to hold the ball (risk of having two balls in there is possible then). I will check how it behaves.

--> older run: rectangular inserts
--> newer runs: cross inserts
2 years ago they changed to a new supplier (see ghostbusters ghosting): back to rectangular inserts

Installed a cliffy on my game. On initial boot after the installation, the game 'rewarded' me by giving me a ghost line on the display...aargh...
But one day later and some soldering action (swapping the block)... the display is good again

I finally made it.. and have now an extra song to choose from when I start my game!
Have been trying to get it since 2 weeks. Had it once lit and then drained....

Now reached it and what a great mode it is!

Settings are dflt, outlanes in the up position, 3 balls and max 2 extra balls (one from the captive ball and the other from combo's OR pistons).
The outlanes in the up position made a huge difference in the game being a lot lot harder. Very often my pops or sparky throw the ball down the outlane..
