Anyone have a clean Met for sale? Looking for premium or a nice super clean pro. Happy to pay a premium for a really nice example. Don’t care too much about mods. I can do that myself
Thank you!

Love this machine. So much. But I don’t love the stock shooter rod. I guess I’d go with the shift knob if that’s my only option, but does anyone know of a nice Sparky rod for sale somewhere? Or the piston / skull, etc?
Is the Sparky helmet electrocution mod still available anywhere?
Quoted from Snailpin:Hey guys I'm getting a Metallica Pro LED and I got some options to have mods installed before delivery, which one of the following would you recommend? Thanks!
1. Metallica Pro Coffin Insert (It adds 3 skulls to the coffin on the playfield, these are also lit from below)
2. Metallica Shooter Lane Protector
3. Metallica Sparky Anti Airball Plastic
4. Metallica Pinball Sparky Electrocution Helmet Mod (kinda expensive, like 50 bucks)
5. Metallica Pinball Snake Fangs Mod
6. Metallica Pinball Snake Mouth Decal
7. Coffin Pinball Mod
Quoted from BigalzPinz:Unfortunately I don't believe so,,, they pop up from time to time on Ebay, pretty scarce... Mezel Mods had them for awhile, maybe shoot them an email, and you might get lucky and they'll have one laying around.. Good Luck.
Ok thank you. I could get some EL wire and make one myself (I have a nice 3D printer and can do the helmet piece easily) - I’m just not sure of the power source and voltage. Maybe I’ll do some experimenting.
Anyone know the Total Lightshow guy? Any way to resurrect that product? Metallica is such a great pin - definitely destined to be one of the all time great Sterns, and demand is high. People are going to continue to want mods, but many that were popular a few years back have gone away (shooter rods, helmet wire mod, light show, etc)
Quoted from cconway84:I’d love a helmet wire for sparky and a real knocker. Just finished my met pro in purple powdercoat.

Looks great! I just did exactly the same. Such a fun game. Just gotta do a flipper rebuild. Mine are buzzing like a broken streetlamp.
Did the Sparky helmet mod today. Designed the helmet cap / adapter pretty quickly in Tinkercad and 3D printed it on my Prusa. Painted it with Testors and superglued to the helmet. Then I ordered next day EL wire and a USB adapter from amazon and added it.
The wire didn’t want to coil the way I wanted, but I wrapped it around a large Phillips head screwdriver shaft then heated it with a heat gun in the garage. Once it was soft and set i put the whole assembly in the fridge and cooled it down. That set the coil in the shape I wanted much better
Used a few acrylic paint pens from Michael’s to add a little bloodshot look to the eyes and some random cracks / marks on the helmet so it’s not so basic and I’m pretty happy with how it all came out
Was cheap and easy and a fun little hour-two project.

I posted one in this thread a few pages back. Made my own. Was super easy. I 3D designed and printed the helmet adapter and just bought the EL wire off Amazon. Was like $9?
