The Premiums ship with LEDs, correct?

Quoted from Aurich:Correct, but the Pros do now too, you can't buy a new Stern without LEDs anymore.
Thank you- I was fairly certain, but the emphasis on the Pro made me question. I have a Monsters Premium on the way, and couldn't be more excited.
Folks, I may have missed it in an earlier part of the thread- but are the new Met Premiums shipping with that busy artwork on the speaker panel? I keep seeing examples of round speaker machines with a funky panel surround.
Congratulations! I wonder how hard it would be to remove that speaker panel- I would like to design my own. I want something simpler, so as to allow the translight to stand alone. I.love the game, but that bothers me.
I think I am also a wee bit bummed about he tiny looking li'l round speakers relative to the "classic" square. Ah well- it will give me something to work on! This game is so good... Played it again tonight at a gatherong- cannot wait for mine.
Did you cut the decal yourself, or use a vendor? My local pin chum has a Glow Forge on order, but In thinking a local vinyl vendor might do me better / faster. I saw what you did for Roadcase, and I like it. (I like the roadcase better than monsters, but monsters is what was available at the right price, so whatchagonnado?)
The Pro is what is on order, which (theoretically) will allow for pass through. I'll give Joe a holler to see what a one off might run. I'm truly thinking basic: think embossed metal, with integrated speaker flares to make them look- well, beefier and more present that the newest incarnation. Thanks for the intel- I have been jeep ng an eye on your goodies, and I appreciate your talent and input!
I happened to luck out and catch Pinside while getting ready for work. Frankly they didn't even need to offer any discount for a new mod, bit they did. It sold them 50 units, and confirmed market viability.
This is a niche market, folks- and this was a great idea and method.
Ok, I thought it was fixed, but them realized it was only after I took two balls out of the machine that it stopped autoloading three balls. The game says six balls, but if I remove two, them game after new game it does not auto fire. Any ideas? The difference on behavior does not seem consistent with optosz as the number of balls in the machine makes an impact.
Well, sticker under lockbar says install 6, manual downloaded from Stern says four. Four works fine, so there is is. If anyone else happens to either look at the stocker on theirs, or know what they put in, please let me know.
We reckon they must have put the wrong sticker on at the factory. Hmmm... Maybe it's worth more, as the 6 ball prototype...
Quoted from Aurich:Probably because Metallica feels like a "finished" game right now. So yeah, anything else is extra.
Word. There is plenty great with the game, and additional items are just that-refreshments to keep the game fresh and new. It's not like most of those who never play one were maxing out the current code.
Quoted from Roostking:Feels finished and is finished are two different things. Dont get me wrong, I love my Met, and maybe since its my first and only pin, I don't understand the "norm" that is unfinished code. In my mind, if there are call outs and areas of the playfid that suggest something should happen Stern needs to complete the code to actually finish the game 100%
Code, be it in pinballa or computer software, ifls by its very nature in a form of beta testing when exposed to the public. Expecting "finished" or "complete" code isn't realistic, in my opinion. Revisions, additions and corrections are part of the process- unless you prefer ample, basic code.
Well, I am an avid gamer (console), and I have paid for extras. It happens allnof the time- map packs, weapons, etc.
The machine as it was is worth the money. I know because I just dropped it as well. New code is gravy to me.
It is also responsible of any producer to look at customer feedback, and modify and enhance their product based upon that feedback.
Only weirdness with my new Prem: when the hammer drops, it does a second li'l tap, as if to be sure. Also, as of last night the ball wouldn't let go of the magnet. Can I have a magnetized ball already? I'm told stock Stern balls do so- well, I have a mixture of five quality balls and one Stern due to the "install six" sticker goof up, and now after removing two I wonder which were which. Still, love the game so very much.
Quoted from knockerlover:My machine is pictured on the pinnovators page for the new version of the pinpac 5.

I am trying to install a Pinpac5 on my new Met Premium. I am at an impasse- at the door, my Pinpac Mac connector seems to be a new style, but I do not have (per the instructions) a connector under the stock volume/adjustment buttons to tap into. Instead, I have the older msle to male style with the spacer. Any ideas on next steps, or do I need an adapter? (Note: I reached out to Lorenzo, but I needed a place to post the attached pic):
Here is the correct hookup. Note the "green" sleeved piece on the left side.
I will say, for those on the fence over this, or an external subwoofer- do not hesitate.
This is how the game was meant to be played- and in addition to the ability for stealth late night rocking, I can tell you that even in normal externalbaudio the subwoofer adds dimension at low volume settings. It is also nice to have access to volume with the coin door closed
Well, you have your opinion. My subwoofer hooks up great. I can use a set of headphones. The volume control is easily accessible to my guests with no external controls or batteries, limiting their access to functions they don't need.
Apples and oranges. One neat system did everything I specifically needed. Vote with your own wallet, brah.
Ok, tried to add Mezel's hammer light mod, bit cannot figure out the lamp # to test it- either that, or it isn't working (coffin either on Met Prem). Anyone know the lamp number to check?
