My mylar over sparky and grave marker have held up really well but my magnets are perfectly flush with the playfield. I could see this being an issue if the magnet isn't flush.

Go into switch test and test with a ball/finger. You may have a faulty switch or loose connection.
Inlanes and pop bumper lanes (5 in total) light up the mystery scoop award. The mystery award gets better and better each time you complete all 5 before collecting. After having hit all 5 at least once before collecting, the animation will go farther and farther down the "hole" passing by the lesser awards and granting you the better award. My best is 4 levels down. Not sure if there is a limit.
Quoted from yoshootme:put the headphone jack in yet?
No not yet! Wife has me doing all sorts of things to the nursery. I will get to it during my "break" once the baby arrives.
Quoted from Pincrawler:Yah I played mine for a couple days before the sneeze gaurd that I took of the right ramp proved to be needed. I had the balls jump right off the ramp and land in the shooter lane, atleast I didn't have to stop my game..... lol
I made some wireform replacements for the right ramp sneeze guard that match:

I sell them for $15 shipped in the U.S.
MET WF.jpgQuoted from BOBCADE:Are Cliffy magnet protectors a must?
I don't think so. I installed the Cliffy around the coffin hole which has held up well. I put mylar over the sparky and graveyard magnets, but the mylar didn't last too long. So I pulled it and all seems fine. I think you just need to keep an eye on it and make sure that the magnet doesn't wear below the pf surface as that is when you will start running into problems.
Locking a ball on each of the three magnets and then some shot with the fourth ball to release them all would be cool. The only problem with that idea is what if you get more than one ball locked on one of the magnets -- which happens from time to time.
I just installed the neon protector set from Pinbits last night (slings/guides, pop bumpers and Sparky air ball protector) and I have to say that I am really happy with how they turned out. The neon effect is much more intense in person.
The laser etching on the slings of a skull/piston and flames really pops as does the spider web etching on the Sparky plastic.
Just thought I'd share as this set is very different and far more reasonable in price than the other neon plastic offerings I've seen.

Quoted from Rickwh:I like the etching on the slings and sparky. Did u specify the color of plastic or did they come that way?
That's the way they came. Neon green slings/ball guides, neon green pop bumper caps and the neon orange sparky. I assume you could ask Pam to print them in different colors -- it does say on their site that you can request pinball protector sets in any color so I would assume they could do the same here.
Quoted from cscmtp:I started having issues with the ball falling off the wire ramp and into the shooter lane after I hit the right ramp shot. Anyone else experiencing this? Is there a fix/mid for it?
I made sneeze guard replacements though I'm not sure that it will solve your problem if the ball is ejecting before the sneeze guard.

Twice last night while in mid-play my machine ended the ball as if I had drained. Has this happened to anyone?
Quoted from LOTR_breath:This happens on all Stern games. Usually a 30 second fix. Just open the coin door, reach inside and push on the small connectors on the front and rear of the ball trough. You will usually feel that one or both were not fully pushed on. They back off over time from the vibrations.
Bingo! Two loose connectors - front and back. Problem solved. Many thanks!
Quoted from Lermods:Changing that post fixed bounce backs 100%.
I disabled my post years ago due to the bounce backs. I love the flow without the post. How integral are the pops to the rule set and how often is the post enabled during gameplay?
