Subban sucks

I recently did the code update on my LE (yeah, I know, I waited too long) and it seems like the hammer is occasionally acting like it caught the ball and smashing nothing.. is there a setting I need to change to make this better? I have the stock proximately board that was originally in the game (I believe others may have changed their board out?). On the last code update I know I went into the setup and changed a setting that made the false catches better.

Just heard that Stern will be producing more Metallica Premiums, including Road Cases, in December. It is also highly likely that the Metallica license will be extended into the next year! Great news!

No doubt, External Subs are the way to go!! I have 4 of them and will never add another Flipper Fidelity kit to any of my games. The Bass you get with a powered sub is 10X better.

I originally owned a LE, sold it about a year and a half ago due to space. I have always been a big Metallica fan and love the layout and code on this game, so have been wanting to add one back. Last month while I was on vacation the bowling alley I went to after everything else closed down in town had a Metallica pro, and I fell back in love with this game.

After some searching, I was able to find a Road Case locally with about 100 plays on it with a MFG date of April 2016 for a great price, so I snagged it! Funny thing is, almost exactly a year ago I was looking for a Road Case and almost bought one, but the deal fell through as the game was super hot at that time and the game got bought out from under me. So now I have a sweet Road Case in my collection and paid about $1K less than I would have a year ago. I'm thinking this one is here to stay for quite some time now. I honestly think this is the best cab art for this game, and along with a Monsters translite (which I have waiting to install, the old dudes translite will go in storage) this game makes me very happy.

Here's a few pics of my MET with my Kiss LE and Luci. Now I just need to add a ColorDMD once they are back in stock and am looking to mod this one out.. I have fangs and snake tongue decal on order as it stands and added a Polk Audio subwoofer.

I'm also thinking of doing a gunmetal grey powder on the armor, anyone here done that yet? Should look good!

Quoted from ninjabones:

About to pull the trigger, and still debating about the extra $1,600 for a premium. Tried to search, but this thread is 176 pages now. Can someone summarize the consensus with regard to whether the upcharge is worth it on this pin (or point me to the relevant thread as I'm sure this has been discussed before ad nausea)?
UPDATE: Disregard. I found it (decent discussion around page 110)

Don't want to beat a dead horse, but I recently added MET to my collection again about a month ago, I consider the game to be a long term keeper for me. I previously owned the LE and thought that I could go with adding either a Pro or Prem. I came across a nice premium and snagged it, and I'm glad I did. The light show alone adds so much to the game TO ME. My hammer works perfectly and I love the coffin lock. The snake jaw also adds more to the game than I thought it did (I had been playing a pro before I bought the prem). So to me, well worth the extra $. If I was more on a budget, I'd be happy with the pro though.

Just wanted to say that I saw Metallica a few days ago in Orlando, and it was one of the best concerts I have seen in 30 years. What a show!! Makes me want to fly out to another show on this tour and see them again. If you have a chance to see them, do it!! They put on a spectacular show!

I managed to pick up some Silver LE armor for MET and the lockdown bar is scratched... Would anyone happen to have a nice LE lockdown bar for sale or know where I can get one?
