Quoted from tbpd349:Time to put some life back into this thread.
My wife just surprised me with a 15th anniversary gift for the games room to accompany our Metallica Pro.
The photo does not do it “justice”. Amazing idea.
I present to you…

Freak’n wicked man. Tell her well done. She’s a keeper.
Quoted from bicyclenut:I apologize in advance if this is someones game on here. I don't mean to offend you, but why would you change your translite artwork for this? One of the best parts of a MET machine in the artwork.

Smokeshow though! But yea...unacceptable.
Quoted from embryon:I think I may have mentioned this issue before but it has reared it's ugly head again. For some reason tombstone multiball can start intermittently without a target hit or during play the dmd will at random display a target hit when there has been a hit. I have had the ball sitting in the trough and while getting a drink, tombstone mball starts and the ball ejects.
Tried resetting the plug to the inline targets with no solution this time. Is there another plug in the headbox I can reseat? Any other areas to look at? Is the pcb on the inlines an opto board of some sort as I can't see any standard optos?? Does this board go bad? Thanks for any suggestions.
I had a similar issue with modes starting for no reason. Bought a new opto board and every thing. Turns out I had the pin plugged into a surge protector and had my sub for it plugged into it as well. A friend said he has had issues with surge protectors and pins. I plugged it into its own outlet and plugged the sub into another outlet and I’ve not had any issues since.
Quoted from Fezmid:Weird... i have both plugged into the same surge protector and it's working fine. Never heard of this before.
Me neither till it happened. Lol ! Could have been something with the sub on the same circuit as well but as soon as I separated them and took it off the protector no issues at all.
Quoted from j_m_:bif naked did it better (at least 'nothing else matters'
Dude...Pretty great. Never heard that before. Love it!!
Quoted from jawjaw:I've tried the washers, stiffer spring, and adjusting shooter. I don't think the shooter can be adjusted since it's firmly mounted in place. The other stuff kind of helps. It will work sometimes but most of the time not. This game is really starting to frustrate me. Not sure it's even possible to get this game to play right.
You can absolutely adjust the entire assembly. It may be stuck on the cabinet so persuade it a bit. It’s either that or you have the wrong length shooter rod or spring. Here’s some pics for reference.

Quoted from Holtamania:Hey all,
Hopefully one of you fellow Metallica family members can help me with my newly acquired Metallica Le. I am unable to update my game code, after multiple USB attempts (fat32 format) bin files from stern, it doesn’t seem to get recognised as per pics. I have recently purchased a new epprom just in case that was the issue. Any tips? Thank you in advanced!!

Mac or PC ? Stern code doesn’t like Mac.
