I have AC/DC, Metallica and The Shadow with Color DMD and DotsXL looks best for me.

That's because you are a man of impeccable taste.
Well I FINALLY made it to End of the Line. I failed miserably once I got there. Can someone tell me what you're supposed to do when you get there?! There were no instructions on the DMD. Just looked like you were driving a car with a view of the rear view mirror. Damn my butt hole was puckered when shooting for that last scoop shot to get to EOL.

Hit all the shots, then one will be lit for jackpot and give you another ball in play if you hit it. Shots will then all relight. Seems to go on ad infinitum.
It throws out heaps of points. Feels a bit more like victory laps to me, rather than a big climactic wizard mode like Portal.
I fired up my fairly low play HUO MET for a friend that was over for just a quick game. On ball three the RH flipper went dead. All I had time for was to open the coin door and feel the coil and see if there was a loose wire. It seemed like there might have been some extremely light smoke but hard to say. It happened on his first game. Any jump start suggestions would be most appreciated. I've had almost no trouble out of all my Sterns so I'm not real familiar with them. Thanks,Charlie

Sadly I'll probably never see this...with the glass on. Great job!

I'm assuming that you checked the fuse by the flipper. If you pop one in and the flipper locks on, blowing the fuse, you have a bad transistor.
I just replaced the transistor for the left flipper. I took a call while playing, held in the flipper, blew the transistor
...anyway. Probably a warranty thing but I have the tools to fix my stuff and had the parts on hand.

The only warning I'll give for EoL is: It is timed
I wasted my one time at EoL trying to observe and enjoy it like the other CIU modes, and I ran out of time. You have to keep making shots to keep the mode going.
Quoted from sparechange1974:Picked these up a while back(from Pinball Life) and wanted to share. Just installed a set on AC/DC as well. Made by Laserific and a bit oversized, but really adds a lot of life to the game as well as protects.

Lookin good...NOW if you have the nerve go to post # 3406,3428 and 3436 to see how to make the out lane plastics look even better. My post is #3436.

Keep in mind they are supposed to be over sized a bit as they are still PF plastic protectors as they keep any wild ball bounces from smashing the sides in.....and strengthen any well placed hits from the top.

Thanks Hougie, that sounds like what must have happened. So after 11 years in the hobby I get to replace my first transistor, and it happens on my newest game after 2 minutes of play. I guess that's why they invented the phrase "That's Pinball"

Did you try a new fuse? Fuses can pop just from being cheaply made. Definitely go easiest to hardest! Dont bust out the iron unless you know it's bad.
Do you know how to test the transistor?
You may just call tech support. I'm sure that's under warranty. If you have never replaced parts on a board you shouldn't cut your teeth on a new shiny game. Send me a p.m. if you want.
Thanks, I will take it step by step when I get some time to focus on it. Hopefully be able to look at it before the end of the weekend.
Quoted from MustangPaul:Your not that far away, stop over some weekend and play.
Great collection you have! I might have to if I'm ever in the neighborhood. Same to you

Sounds good. Thanks.
Seems like the plug for the shaker was in the back of the cabinet on AC/DC. It has been a while though, so I might be remembering it wrong.
On my Met Pro the wire was in the back bottom of the cab but didn't use the Red Tremor shaker from CT. Would assume it's the same connector though.
it looks like they inserted the "live" wire into the wrong socket position.
I would verify with CT first, but if you've got access to a molex connector pin extractor, you can simply push the pin back out of the socket and then re-insert it into the correct one.

This is what I was thinking.
Thanks brother northvibe. That's what I assumed, I just wanted to see it and I'll move the pin tomorrow. Thanks for the pics
I'm SO STOKED! Just got my Metallica Premium Monsters NIB!
This is my 1st/2nd game ever, the first being a BK, which I haven't even been able to get 5 games out of before something goes wrong with it. So I really count this as my first. Metallica was the first band I ever saw in concert, circa 1986 for the Master of Puppets tour. So this table has some meaning for me. I'm pretty excited. Only took me about an hour from back of truck to playing it. Looking forward to seeing what mods (if any) make sense to do!

Nice work. The Premium is worth the extra, Stern really did it right on this one.

I'm still waiting for mine. Hopefully this weekend. Mods I have lined up to install, cliffy protectors, shaker motor, fangs, newton ball, undercab lighting, coffin flask and pinbits plastic protectors. (Probably forgetting something) All will go on before a single ball gets played..

No problem! I'm a visual person do I need to see it to understand. They is no good shaker install, so it took me forever to get my tron and met shaker installed. I figured some pics would help glad to do so! Post up if switching those fixed it you can use a tiny screw driver or pick to hold the clip while you pull it out.
Are Metallica Pro LED's Snakes shipping with fangs?
I saw that some people were ordering fangs on some of the mod sites to go with the tongue sticker.

They do not ship with fangs. You can get them at mezelmods

Forgot to add tongue decal & mirror blades..
Has anyone here put a playfield protector on there Met pro?
Just put one on today and wanted to see if anyone had any issues with it.

Not sure why you'd do that. IMHO they cause more issues than they fix, especially with modern clear coat games.

Being released in Quebec Canada only. Because it is alcohol, shipping the full cans across border not possible. However across Canada would be fine. Any fellow pinhead here that is in Quebec and would ship a 24 to me here in Calgary? 91,000 cans released and those will go quick and be guzzled even faster in Canada.
