Confirmed. You can stack one other MB in with coffin MB. Once you stack another MB in it turns off the progress on the others. I didn't test Coffin and Sparky as we all agreed it's stackable.

I primed the MB's before starting the video to save time.

Coffin and grave yard stacked

Coffin and snake stacked

Quoted from S37VEN:

I just installed the neon protector set from Pinbits last night (slings/guides, pop bumpers and Sparky air ball protector) and I have to say that I am really happy with how they turned out. The neon effect is much more intense in person.
The laser etching on the slings of a skull/piston and flames really pops as does the spider web etching on the Sparky plastic.
Just thought I'd share as this set is very different and far more reasonable in price than the other neon plastic offerings I've seen.

I like the etching on the slings and sparky. Did u specify the color of plastic or did they come that way?

That's the way they came. Neon green slings/ball guides, neon green pop bumper caps and the neon orange sparky. I assume you could ask Pam to print them in different colors -- it does say on their site that you can request pinball protector sets in any color so I would assume they could do the same here.

Quick question on the Premium/LE. Other than the voice that says "lock is lit" for the coffin, is there any other indicator? Is the coffin supposed to flash when lock is lit?

I don't remember seeing any indication and the coffin flash. Maybe it could pulsate slowly... that would be cool!

So has anyone that changed songs on the pinball browser "shared" their new code with the public? I would like to change out a couple of the newer songs, but I am really not a computer savy kinda guy.

Would anyone like to share?

TIA.

Actually if somebody could post instructions on how to swap out songs I would appreciate it.

All the info you need to know can be found here. It was easier than I thought it would be when I did my ST.

https://pinside.com/pinball/forum/topic/acdc-display-and-modify-dot-matrix-images

Hardest part is finding songs that match the length of the song you want to replace.

Thanks. My buddy is a musician and sound editor so he can customize song length.

Sparky is sold!

#2062 5 years ago

Has anybody gone through the newest code revision on the pinball browser to locate songs in the code so they can be changed with new ones, or is it just a matter of going through every line? Gotta be a better way...

Would be very nice to have only the instrumental songs! I thought I read it somewhere, from some one who has done this.. would be al blast!

My buddy who has a Premium was going to snap pictures to where the slide rails are drilled under the apron to help guide where I will be putting them. He is out of town, any chance a premium owner can take a couple pics for me so I can install my slides tonight? And extra brownie points if you add a measurement I can use to line up a drill hole

Thought that was solved already so I never took picks. I'll take picks of my LE today and post them up with measurements.

Indeed it was. I'm not a fan of music with singing in pins, I'd rather have just music.

There was a "Metallica The Instrumentals" album in 2012 that I found online. Not sure what the origins of it are, but it's really nice quality of a good portion of the songs in the game. The rest I scraped off youtube videos - and I substituted sanitarium for unforgiven, I think. It's been a awhile.

I dug up a bunch of posts but none had a picture from a Pre/LE or measurements. There's a chance I'm pre-drilled but doubt it.

#2070 5 years ago

Give this a try. The measurements are the best I could do without removing parts to get it perfect. Should get you where you need to go though.

Click on the image to make it larger. Just did a rough drawing and put the measurements on it.

SWEET! Thanks for taking the time.

#2072 5 years ago

Are there any other acrylics for the speakers? I can find the hand, but would really like to find a Metallica "M". Not even sure if those have been made. Thanks.

#2073 5 years ago

My NIB is still in the garage till I get someone over for a hand. #TORTURE

I pulled mine out of the uhaul at 2 am, got it into the new house, unboxed it, set it up and played it by myself..

NOT RECOMMENDED hah. I was just too excited after being overseas for so long.

Yeah, I did pretty much did the same thing with my CFTBL. Was kind of rough getting the legs on.

Rails were a pain in the ass. Thank you 85vette! I set the right one then made sure the left aligned. It turned out perfect.

Glad ya got um on, they are worth the effort. Now do you know how to slide the pf into position?

#2080 5 years ago

I thought all pinball machines would have those rails. Learn something new every day!

New Sterns did for a while then they went to the pegs as a cost saving measure.

#2082 5 years ago

Stern really needs to reconsider the pennies they are saving. At least include the pre-drilled tnuts and maybe even starter holes for the bottom side. I'd at least respect them for that.

that'll buff right out.........I think. I'd send them a picture and see what they have to say.

#2085 5 years ago

Some did clean up with novus 1 and microfiber but what was left is there for good.

#2087 5 years ago

I wonder if the helmet mod will cover it.

Was that a before picture?

Yes,its not fuzzy looking anymore but there is still a mark.

#2089 5 years ago

I wouldnt stress over it.

#2090 5 years ago

I would ask for another. You spend 5-7k on a pin it shouldn't come scratched up from the factory. Would you buy a new car already scratched up and dented?

#2091 5 years ago

Mine has that same mark on it right out of the box. Can't see it from a players perspective, but it's there.

#2092 5 years ago

Don't worry about it. You'll never see it when playing and after your first game you'll have some scratches on his feet anyway. Plus the sparky mod would cover it if you went that route.

#2093 5 years ago

Any one here have the Custom Dirty Donny?

Tell them. Would you have bought it "New" if it looked like that? Heck no.

#2095 5 years ago

i'd get a free sparky out of it if it really bothers you. the problem is you'll have to return the scratched one for a replacement.

#2096 5 years ago

You can kind of see it playing. Calling them and swapping it out seems like a lot of work though.

Also, would I be a lesser player if I moved in the outlanes? Lol they're killing me on drains.

Last question for now, the snake is killing me with bouncing out. Is the bottom lip supposed to be higher than the playfield on the pro? Wont it get all chipped up if so.

#2097 5 years ago

I moved my outlanes. Its my game, Ill be the one playing it mostly, I paid for it, so Im setting it up how I want lol

My lip is a bit higher and its just something I think you have to deal with.

+1 to this. You're not sucking quarters on location. Move em in. You get good? Move em back out.

#2099 5 years ago

Same, I moved mine down. Game is still not easy.

That's the beauty of owning the machine. I just do what I want....
