Quoted from finnflash:

Now you need a colordmd

I have one.

Quoted from snakesnsparklers:

Correct. And once you do this I believe the bonus song is then unlocked in the song select menu. I've owned my game for years and still haven't managed to complete 4 CIU modes

Yep, I only did it once and unlocked The End of the Line. Now that song appears as part of the overall song menu and is selectable just like the other songs.

Quoted from Anony:

Go into switch test mode and see if any switches are being triggered on their own. Bumping the machine around a bit to see if vibration is causing anything helps,
Use your hand to manipulate the switch in the shooter lane (the ball sits on top of it when it's in the shooter lane) to see if it triggers properly and isn't opening when it is depressed.

I would test all switches in the game - targets, flipper buttons, rollover switches, sling leaf switches, optos, etc. Look for the switch matrix in the manual. It will be a grid showing all the switches in the game so good reference. Another indication that a switch is triggering is if you get points without doing anythign.

+1 on banging around the pf to see if any switches trigger. Optos can get flaky where they work fine in testing but randomly trigger under vibrations.

+1 on the magnetization. Also don't trust any type of test to see if they are magnetized just change them and see if it helps. I was never able to detect any magnetization on my balls but changing them solved this issue for me.

Just use a small metal piece. That’s what I do. It’s almost impossible to tell it if not.

I can start to tell when my balls get magnetized when multi-balls are going on and they seem to follow themselves straight down the middle and I'm not kidding.

Yeah it might just be one ball. Doing that.

IMO, if one is, they all are, or soon will be. I go ahead and replace all at the same time.

get another pair, put one under each leg of the machine. Boom, you just invented bottomers, your machine is now 2k$ more valuable.

Will have the Metallica flipper button protectors available shortly in my Pinside store for sale, preorder link is below. They will be $80US for the pair plus shipping. They are attached with three screws and have an insert that fits under the lockdown bar. Very easy installation, fit over the flipper buttons and under the siderails. My Pro today let's the ball loop on the plunge without holding the left flipper, it no longer stops at the top lanes. Haven't had a chance to look yet, but Any idea?

There’s a setting to disable it iirc, might want to check that first.

#20667 3 days ago

Haven't been into the settings in a long time, but ill check there first. Thx

Check if one of the two leads going to the coil for the post has come loose.

Quoted from Bundy:

Check if one of the two leads going to the coil for the post has come loose.

Or it may be the hot wire that is daisy chained from another coil that came loose at the other coil.

You could start by simply checking the diverter post in the coil test.

Connections are fine, won't fire in coil test. Been told it's most likely a transistor or diode. Thx for the responses, appreciate them

I’d bet money on a transistor. I’ve replaced a few of them already as they don’t seem to last. So far I’ve swapped the snake eject, both slings, and the flippers for failure or weak action.

That's my next step. Always hope for an easier fix ,

They aren’t to bad to do, takes longer to pull the board than it does to swap them out.

What are we doing to keep this ball guide from bending inward? I’ve replaced a few now and it’s always bent studs that go through the playfield.
