The Purple matches the Graffiti artwork perfectly . Would not work on the Limited Roadcase however
Hey Metallica owners! Just before the Great Pinside Blackout of 2021 (what are we calling it?), I released some new 3D Coin Reject Buttons for Metallica but didn't have a chance to post them here ... so here they are, in multiple varieties!
Metallica_all_RCP (resized).jpg
As you can see, I have two different designs -- a white skull, or a marble cross tombstone, on your choice of translucent color button (red, orange, yellow, green, blue, clear/white). I already had requests for red, blue, and orange so I've included photos here. I print these buttons with a programmed filament change so the design is permanently fused to the button.

Anyone have a clean Met for sale? Looking for premium or a nice super clean pro. Happy to pay a premium for a really nice example. Don’t care too much about mods. I can do that myself
Thank you!
Quoted from shovelhed:Purple to match side art?
I havent yet found a translucent purple that I'm happy with -- usually they turn out to be more magenta than purple. The colors they show in the product pages aren't always accurate.
I'll keep looking and will let you know if I find one.
I just installed my shaker motor in my Met Pro. It feels pretty good but it seems that when I set off the electric chair I’m now hearing some vibration as well as feeling it when the motor is really cranking. It seems to be coming from the shaker motor area. Anything I should look at in particularly? Almost sounds like plastic vibrating
Prerty sure it field glass and backglass. Pretty normal. I put anti vibration tape on field and a bit of foam insulation behind backglass

You just installed a motor to shake the game, and now it's shaking?
Quoted from Raegor:Search ebay: DC 6V/12V/24V/28V 3A PWM Motor Speed Regulator Controller Switch
You need to add one of those in line and you can adjust it to whatever amount of shake you desire.
^^^ @outlawtorn304. Great mod, super cheap, highly recommended for games with SAM boards. Just don’t use them with Spike games or you’ll fry the cabinet node board.
Quoted from yzfguy:You just installed a motor to shake the game, and now it's shaking?
Yeah, if you’re running the shaker at full strength, you definitely need tape on the glass. I find that the back of the glass is more important than the sides; I keep layering electric tape until it’s fairly tight.
Quoted from ralphs007:I know it’s a long shot , but anyone with a Metallica Premium who’s leaving the club, pm me.
Thanks in advance

I forgot to mention HUO,but thanks again for your help.

To me The premiums SnakeMouth is one of the best Bash toys in the game with the working Jaw / I do not consider Sparky a bash toy just like i do not consider lil Deadpool one / Sparky is just there and an opto triggers a hit and lil deadpool is just a standup target with a mounted bracket on top and you hit the standup target /
Now the Snake mouth is operational , you hit when closed / shoot a ball in when open , it closes with ball in it and that is a functional toy .
Wolverine is a bash toy / hit wolvie to activate / the well walker is a bash toy .
I guess the Barn door With Zombie in it is also a cool Bash toy.
lil Deadpool is not a bash toy. there is no bash toy in deadpool . I said it !

I love this mod but I really hate the fact you can no longer see the upper lane lights with it installed. I really with they did a mod to fix this as well via some kind of lights that attach to the ramp or some kind of mirror that reflects the image up ala TOM or GB.

I have a mirror hanging inside the curve of the ramp, showing those inserts. Hard to see, but it's just a rectangular little mirror wired into that post. Works great and it's big enough so that short or tall people can all see the reflection of the inserts. Someone made a lot guitar pick mod but for some reason, it only works in the pro.

Are using a pinstadium setup? I ask because I’m getting ready to install side blades and pinbstadiums in my LED pro and I’m looking for ideas for setup and where to connect the pinstadium lights
The flashers are still there. The game has a mix of LED’s and stock incandecents. The added rail lights are a system that a fellow pinsider does...very inexpensive and work off of a remote. I have them on all my machines. I can’t stand not being able to see.

They do have a mod to address this.

I own a premium
Quoted from shovelhed:Just ordered these in purple. I also have purple passion leds that will light these up. I will post pics once installed.[quoted image]
I was thinking of purple bulbs, but then the cross would be purple too.
Quoted from djreddog:Had no clue. That sucks.
I know.... I tried one on my premium when it first came out and we have no idea why, but couldn't get it to work. Seems simple enough that if a bulb is wired to the insert bulb it would light, but nope.
Got my green coin return buttons today. Well made, super fast shipping, and matches my green powdercoat to a T. I want more of these for my other machines. Thanks for doing this mod!

It might be hitting the metal post near the right side of the mouth. Solution for my premium was a bit of foam rubber stuck to inside right of the snake scoop
Quoted from NightTrain:Is there any way to adjust the snake kick out on the pro? Mine throws it into the left sling.
Turn down the power for that coil in the menu.
Quoted from BrewNinja:Turn down the power for that coil in the menu.
Oh no kiddin? I didn’t know there were settings for that in Stern games. I’ll give that a shot. Thank you!

In MET, you can't adjust the power for a single coil. Standard Adj #43 Coil Pulse Power has three settings: Normal (default), Hard (increase all coils by 12.5%), or Soft (decrease all coils by 12.5%).
If there's an adjustment for individual coils in MET, someone please share how to do it.
Edit: Feature Adj #82, as pictured in the next post
Quoted from NightTrain:Found the adjustment. It’s under feature adjustments.
[quoted image]
Awesome! I couldn't find that!
Is there a Feature Adj menu in the manual?

well I tried this. Knocked the power all the way down and it still hits the left sling. Going to try a little foam piece strategically placed in the scoop.

This worked awesome.
Forgive me for my ignorance but does anyone have clear instructions to install the Mezel Mods flashing cemetery gate in a Pro LED? The instructions on their web site have me scratching my head a little. I’m sure it’s simple but this is my first pin and don’t want to chance messing it up. I’m comfortable working on things but I want to make sure the wires are routed correctly and that the wiring ties in correctly as well. Also want to take apart as little as needed, chasing loose screws down is no fun lol

I appreciate your review and sharing them with the other MET folks! You're welcome, and thank YOU!

Did it do anything? I have tried the ball eject power setting and it didn't do anything.
Apparently some settings are in the software but the hardware does not support it, or they didn't fully implement it in the software. Maybe the audits are generic and it works in some later SAM titles?
Quoted from NightTrain:This worked awesome.
Told ya. If you look carefully you would have seen the ball glance the post. I didn't at first and tried all the adjustments etc. Well done mate. Just be aware the foam will probably wear over time and need replacing. Mines been in for a couple years and still good. True fix is physically moving the snake/scoop mech.
I’m getting ready to install neo pinstadiums in my LED Pro. Do you guys have any suggestions or cool ideas for settings or which lights to connect to for the best effect?

You should only need to remove the plastic over the drops. Feed the wire through the hole to the left of the flasher behind the cross. From the underside, remove the bayonet holder of the flasher. Replace the flasher with the one they provided, and I think you need to connect the cemetary wire to the new flasher wire (it's been a while, but I think there are tiny connectors). Replace the plastic, but before putting on the nuts, put the cemetary on the threaded post and secure with the nut. I believe only one side gets secured? Can't remember. Be careful when securing. The 3D print material is vulnerable and will break if you secure too tight.
Hope that helps.
Dumb question I'm sure but I haven't even started investigating because I've been stuck trudging through hell with my eight ball deluxe hardtop..
My snake is throwing errors and is very...chatty. but it seems to work okay when I play, at least as far as I can tell. I assume I need to disassemble, adjust and/or replace something, and reassemble. I haven't even started digging through my manual so if the procedure is fully detailed in there by all means just tell me to RTFM. Posting here while the manual isn't in front of me so I can deal with it..soonish. Is this assembly a PITA to work with, or something that's really not too big a deal?
