Some relatively big changes in pins

1. Location has changed, they are now located closer to the bar!
2. New games in lineup
3. They now accept either quarters AND tokens

Current games are:
Metallica
Twilight
Ghostbuster
Ripleys

We have a large beer list and a Family Friendly Environment!

I have met plenty of Pinsiders here, and hope to meet more, come on in and play the games!

What should we add next?

Also, if you come to play and have ANY ISSUES. Call me: 847.363.8799, I will get on it ASAP. Game condition is very important to me.

Past Games:
Simpsons Pinball Party
South Park
Starwars Ep.1
Mousin' Around
Big Guns
Wheel of Fortune
Pirates of The Carribean
Tales from the
Nba fastbreak
Revenge from Mars
Lord of the Rings.
High Speed

I can't wait to stop over and check it out!

Wow, I used to go here all the time when I was a kid. Been over 15 years since I was last there.

#4 10 years ago

Come on everyone! Get out here, have some beers and play some kick ass pinball!

#5 10 years ago

What other games out there besides Metallica?

#6 10 years ago

South Park on the floor right now with Metallica

#7 10 years ago

Open til 2am! Come play!

image.jpgimage.jpg

#8 10 years ago

Played both tonight the South Park is in really nice shape but there is nothing like playing a new pin out of the box. After playing the Avengers (a month ago) and finding it average I really enjoyed Metallica. Bonus that it's place where you can really enjoy the sound. I'm hoping to see two or three more pins to complete the line up.

#9 10 years ago

Waldo, It was great to see you out here! Glad you and your kid had fun!

#10 10 years ago

We're open 3-2 tonight! Get out here and play some Metallica!

#11 10 years ago

Played it yesterday and came back with the family today. Great game, great location. I think that I may have found my first NIB.

#12 10 years ago

Glad you had fun! Next time you stop in, make sure you say hi! Just ask for me or give me a call - I'm usually here.

And what do you need a nib for, just come play ours

they really need to build 53 and 120 to at least US12 as full expressways and maybe even link up to the US 12 free way in WI.

Sounds like another trip back!

My wife has some cousins who live in Round Lake. I'll definitely stop by the next time we are out that way.

#19 10 years ago

Looking forward to another visit. Pizza and beer was good too.

#20 10 years ago

Just checked out your website. Looks like a fun place for the family!

Beer,Pinball,MetallicA...it's tempting to drive all the way from Montreal

#23 10 years ago

I just saw this and will definitely try to make my way over there one of these days. Just getting into pinball and it would be nice to meet some other local players.

Got 1.2 loaded up and its ready to go!

Come on out tonight and play some Metallica.

I will be here from 5-9 tonight, I'll buy the first pinsider here a beer.

Just installed a shaker motor the other night, and a Flipper Fidelity sound system - Come check out the difference! First pinsider to find me gets a beer

Speakers were nice on this pin. I could live without the shaker as it seemed to rattle the game more than anything, there may be something loose inside that is buzzing.

Also, what is so "Mystery" about 500,000 points?

Just updated the game list here, check out the Original Post.

#28 9 years ago

Will change title of this post, any time a new Pin Comes in.

#29 9 years ago

If I have time tomorrow afternoon I'm going to stop in and check out the wheel of fortune. Found this place a few Saturdays ago and it seems like a great location to play.

#30 9 years ago

Just cleaned and waxed today. All the bulbs are good as of this morning. Have Fun!

Ask for Steve, if I am there I will come play a game or two.

#31 9 years ago

Games are in great playing shape. Good player location when there isn't too many screaming children. Is metallica updated top the new code?

#32 9 years ago

Metallica is updated. Been busy working (and playing) so I never got the chance to get on here and say so.

Stopped by a little while ago today, and dropped some quarters into each machine.
They're all playing great as best I could tell (except Metallica seems to have a bit of a right-hand lean to it?). The all looked in very good shape.

RFM kicked my butt.
Had a lot of fun on TFTC.
TZ is a tad too dark for my liking. Seems like either the blue GI is too weak to light up the playfield, or half was missing? I don't know the game well enough to tell...and since I don't know the shots, it wasn't really that fun to play in the dark.

My first time there... nice place.

It is possible that the left half was out while you played - the Gi Connector for the left half sometimes gets unseated, will check tonight.

Thanks for coming out, and yeah, RFM can be brutal - Still getting the hang of it, no ball save makes for some quick games!

Also will check on METALLICA, since I recently moved the games I have been tweaking the leveling, then they all shifted when RFM came in, so it might be something that I overlooked.

Again, thanks for stopping in - Next time you come by, ask for Steve! Also, if you ever experience any problems - send me a text:
847-363-8799

I like to keep the problems at a minimum, and the games playing well. I play often enough that I usually notice problems right away, but I can't catch them all.

See you soon!

RFM does have a ball save on by default in the later roms.

If you have old software on it there is a reset bug in there that was fixed.

Wasn't aware of this. I've never updated a P2K... will have to look into it.

you may need an null modem cable.

In general usb to serial adapters can be iffy.

But running older code sucks as one day years ago I lost a nice game to that reset bug in the game.
