Like many around here, I got these beautiful neon green slingshot and outlane protectors from pinball life and they are one of my favorite mods. However since installing them, I'm finding that the 2 lights sticking up from the slingshots keep falling over, and over, and over, and over. I'm guessing maybe because the slingshots are now thicker there is less thread for the poles to screw into and they keep falling down. Has anyone else had this problem? Is there an easy solution I'm missing?

Dunno about an easy solution, but man, I've been tempted to use loctite on these peckers before...sick and tired of adjusting them as well....on all games, not just MET. =\

When I installed my neon slings like yours the thread was too short to hold the posts for the lights up. I took out the washers underneath the plastics on the corners and that gave plenty of room to screw the posts down snug. I believe that's what your supposed to do. Hope this helps

I will try that, thanks!!!

That's the solution I used. Dump the washers, the neon acts like a protector now anyway.

I took 'em off completely. Pro looks fine without them, LE is plenty well lit without them. Less metal & wiring to block the view of that beautiful playfield.
