Wow, Stern rules their dealers even after the machines are delivered? All this top secret shit on a machine that most people paid for 2 months ago is stupid. The LE's are sold out and early code isn't going to change this.. let us (the customers) see the damn LE/Premium!!

I'll have to admit, them withholding anyone seeing or playing the machine AT THIS POINT has me scared! The code must be REALLY BAD and like X-men at release for this to be such a big deal/secret!

It will at least have the PRO rules, which are decent at this point. I'm not sure why they care at this point...

Why the negative thoughts?
Why cant this be looked at as Stern keeping a little 'mystery' about it all - and MAYBE surprising us all with the new game release also possibly having some new stuff in the code- who knows? Look at it as a good thing instead of thinking they are purposely keeping info away from the customers.

I own a PRO and have done for a month - the code is quite good for a 1st up out of the box effort -with only a few minor issues that could be addressed - any additions to the current code will be (a)welcomed and (b) hopefully make the game outstanding.

We've already had months of mystery on the LE... saying we can't see the pin after all this time means they don't want us to see how little is actually done IMO.

I don't want my LE to play like a Pro, there's a reason I paid $2.5 K more for the LE!

I mean, you may say I'm being negative, but I'm basing my worry on Experience with Stern... nothing more. I sure hope I'm wrong!

May have been asked already, but what software has it shipped with? Even without vids or pics you should surely be able to disclose the version (which I understand probably differs from the pro version numbers) and whether things like band member modes or crank it up modes are implemented? It's annoying to have to wait but an update on modes wold be swell to hear about.

The LE code is not ready. Would be a mistake to use in launch party. Smart PR move on a sterns part. Give Lyman time. So many shots and features he hasn't even activated.

I played the test Premium today. Plays like Pro but the Grave Marker looks sick going up and down with led flashers. i can confirm the mirrored back glass is the best Stern back glass ever.

This is EXTREMELY likely! No american person should have gotten a LE yet. The software is alpha and no different from the pro right now. 2 weeks on a boat and into Europe and its a different story for Lyman and his code.

Putting it out there (even though it's probably already been touched on)... the vid les and his boys would take tonight/tomorrow/this weekend will be 3x better than any vid stern dribbles out.

If the game can't control the LED's and/or the hammer doesn't work for chit at this point, I 'somewhat' understand. But god damn, they aren't going to lose any preorders with a video coming out three/four days early... hell probably 3/4 of of the people with LE's are looking to flip them anyway.

Why do some of the other launch parties get to have LE's out this weekend and we don't? I don't get it.

Is anyone else surprised at how underdeveloped the code is on the LE at this point? Is the code update on monday going to be huge? I couldn't see that it would be, as they could have just released another code today to add some things.

I'm paying around $8K for mine and was unfortunate enough to buy an X-men LE at launch, and sold that after 6 months of crappy code.

No sound on the hammer? Could you imagine the bell on AC/DC not having the sound or the TNT bank not yelling "fight" when you hit it?

I guess I'll put my faith in Lyman at this point and hope for the best?

Many people still struggle with all the game acronyms, so an effort to keep things standardized is a better long term strategy than everyone picking pet names for the same game.
