It seems to me like it's more of a "Platinum" color, which will definitely look unique amongst other "regular metal" trimmed games.
Quoted from tpellowe:Looks sweet.
I agree.
It is very hard to photograph things of that nature (chrome / reflection etc) + we all know most of these pics are just photoshopped together anyways as even Stern has admitted they haven't really built the LE's yet
I am happy it isn't chrome, and I hope (but probably false hope) that it isn't a shiny finish.
I like a dull finish like older sterns such as iron man, csi, 24, etc.
I just don't like finger prints and smudges on lockdown bars especially and I dislike cleaning them.
I am lazy.
My 2 cents.
Agree with everything Skulz said, not to mention the terrible plating quality on Tron LE. I think Stern is done with chrome after that debacle.
To me the LE cabinet trim looks fake/rendered. Kind of like if you go to a car manufacturer web page and pick different paint colors for the car. I wouldn't pass judgement on this until we see a real photo of an LE on the line.
I imagine you just aren't able to see the fine detail of the finish from those low resolution pics - Hulk Avengers trim looked 'blah' in pictures and quite nice and lustrous in person.
I too thought that stern pic looked a bit off. Google artic silver color and a bunch of BMWs and Porsches come up.

Ya. I had a BMW that was artic silver and I really liked it!
