I’ve replaced the rubber, the switches on the left side just to see if it made a difference, checked the coil sleeves and nothing makes a difference. These slings are very weak compared to other games. They barely lob the ball back and forth. It’s super frustrating and I’m all out of ideas. Turning the power up does no good either. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Game calls for 2" sling rubbers. Check your manual.

Urethane and silicone rubbers are going to act different than factory natural rubbers. Not sure what those are, but YMMV.

Factory rubbers are no change either. I’ve tried 2” rubber as well and it does not help.

Something is wrong, I just don't know frome here.
I would first check to see if you have 50v at the coils, and from here the rubbers look to tight compared to my pro.

They are 2.5” rubbers. I’m going to put a scope on the coils and see what voltage they are getting.

Inspect and reseat connector J8 on driver board. That's the connector that grounds both slings. Any loose/ suspicious wires on connector, rebuild it.

I wonder if the interconnect switch on the coin door has a bad connection? Worn out?
Just tossing ideas out.

I kinda have the same problem with iron man vault. I change the coil sleeves and clean all the dirt and build up but nothing change. My last resort I was thinking of changing the coils slings?? Mine isn’t as bad but I compared it to my walking dead and those are brutal fast

Reseated with no change. All wiring looks good

Yeah these suck compared to any other game I’ve played. I have an old routed revenge from mars with 43,000 plays and it has wicked powerful slings

Stern is recommending that I try a known good driver board. I’ve got a buddy that has one. If that fixes it they want me to change q13 and q14 transistor on my board

I originally had this same problem with my Met...slings were limp as can be.

I also tried everything...then I swapped boards with my TWD and it transferred the weak slings over to TWD so it was a board problem of some sort.

I never figured what the problem was on the board.

Got it fixed. Replaced q13 and q14 transistors on driver board and the slings are full power again
