I'm looking to add a Polk Audio PSW10 to a Metallica pro. I was going to buy from amazon and wondering what other parts I would need to hook it up? Thanks! Also, I am wanting to order couple LED's, snake decals, shaker motor, etc. Is there any other wiring or splitters/parts needed to hook up all that stuff?
Really appreciate all feedback as I am very new to this.

Various audio upgrades for Metallica were recently talked about he in the owners thread. Take a look at the last page or so there..

Just get the pinwoofer kit...all reviews have been great....good support and takes all the guess work out of it. Don’t have the link handy but there is a thread for it but should be easy to search for it.

I was looking into a Polk PSW10 myself a couple weeks ago. If I'm understanding the marketing correctly, the new line of subs are designated PSWXXX instead of PSWXX. I noticed Best Buy had the PSW108 for 50% off at $99, then checked the Polk website and noticed they are running a 50% off sale on it at the moment.

Anybody know if the PSW108 is the new replacement for PSW10? Specs look close.

Pinnovator board works awesome. Put it in, run the line to your powered sub and rattle the windows.

piece of cake with these kits. I will never have a sub on a game without one of these ever again.

I used to wire in direct to the bass speaker in the bottom of the cab, which also works, but these kits are so much easier, and totally 100% reversible with no trace in case you sell the machine.

for met, you would use this one...

note: I am in no way affiliated with pinnovators, I just love their products and their customer service is top notch.

The two subs are exact on specs so the psw-108 is probably the newer model. The only difference I see is the psw-108 has a black front and the psw-10 has a gray front on the cabinets. This sub is a perfect match and makes a huge difference on the Metallica pin.

Thanks for the help, I saw the pinnovators adapter but was having a hard time how to tell if the system was Sam or Spike... but I guess I now know it’s Sam. How do you know the difference?

If nothing else, these google searches would tell you SAM.

They have both, just make sure you purchase the correct one

All MET pins are SAM based. If you get the pinnovator kit for SAM and the psw10 kit you will be golden. I have the same setup and love it. You could save a few bucks by wiring it yourself but not worth the hassle and potential drop in sound quality imo.

Thanks for the mention @pickle ! We have full powered sub and backbox kits if you want to stay internal, or a great compliment to an external sub is our powered backbox kit. Our kits are turnkey and we see our customers through their install - end to end.
