I believe that these companies are running at absolute bare bones budget, they have to pump out games to pay for the previous games. Working that way, if people stoop buying they will stop making, and quickly.

Quoted from barakawins:Honestly, this is what happens when people dump $7.5K + on a machine where the code isn't
released. Don't buy a machine until the code is finished. Let them sit. Stern will have no choice
but to supply code finished machines. This has now become a trend. (Take their money and deal
with the mess later). Unacceptable. Now you stare at a machine that's not finished wondering if it
will meet your expectations or just be a dud. I could hang a poster up and look at it being pretty.
Don't need a machine taking up useful space. With this kind of cash, all should be complete. No
exceptions. That's a lot of dough.
How will you know if no one buys them?
A guy can only do so much for free before he starts feeling used. At that point it's too late to stop doing it because the fans then think you've turned on them, at that point all Lyman has the option to do is quit.
Asking Lyman to do this on his free time is disrespectful, he should be paid every dime, Stern should be embarrassed of himself.
