I think MASTR explains it easily.

Metallica is already not in the MOPLE acronym. I don't think the LE is a requirement since there are not various Master of Puppets versions.

METLE is the way to go for sure. Also the last E can be silent so it can be pronounced 'met-L'.

The only reason BIBLE came into existence as an abbreviation was because there were two ACDC LE models. Had there only been one, ACDCLE would have sufficed.

Had they made a Ride the Lightning LE in addition to the Master of Puppets LE, I could see calling one MOPLE and the other RTLLE. Since there is only one LE for Metallica, METLE will do just fine.

BIBLE was used because there were two different LEs for ACDC.

The Metallica LE should be called just that - METLE (metal). MOP should not be used anywhere.

The worst one I've seen someone use is METMOPLE. If there is only one LE there is no reason to abbreviate that bit of it because it's implied by the 'LE'. That being said, METLE seems the most succinct.

MLE makes more sense to me than arbitrarily capitalizing the first syllable of the word Metallica, but I'm probably going to call mine MOPLE anyway.

BIBLE is actually printed with "ACDC LE BIB" on the box, and if there were two Metallica LEs it would be "MET LE MOP", but there's only one, so "MET LE" should be the box title, and thus the acronym.
