I am surprised it is at 17 already since I do not see a single basher in the bunch, even though there appears to be a few pumpers pushing the rating up and still a small sample size.

You should know, you certainly know how to manipulate the ratings! WoZ a '10'? You pumper you!

Not sure what you are trying to get at Tony, I originally rated WOZ to point out a continuing problem with the ratings and that they are pretty much worthless (aside from reading what others with similar interests will rate a game). I deleted my WOZ rating a while ago and will rerate when the game is actually complete.

Unlike people rating an incomplete MET, I actually like to rate a game when it is at least near complete codewise since we all know that code can make/break a game. Yet another flaw in the pinside ratings. WHY is MET or WOZ even available to rate at this stage makes zero sense to me.

Yes and the murder rate in Detroit is pretty horrendous but I wouldn't recommend going there and killing someone to point this out...

The ratings are not even something to worry about anymore. Like I said in another post they are just another weapon in the 'new world order' of pinball. The ratings are used and abused to a point by some. Its hard to figure out what ratings are based strictly on the pin itself and which ones have some personal motive behind them. Pinball has become extremely personal. I can't kick your cat or knock over your garbage can so the next best thing to do with keyboard in hand is to bash your favorite pinball machine... sad really but extremely entertaining at times!

Your 6.403 rating on Woz would put it at number 258 in the rankings......this is why after "only playing it a few times" and putting out a rating like this that "the ratings are not even something to worry about anymore".......

I don't agree that software must be near complete to share an opinion. If JJP and Stern decide it's complete enough to put in homes and on location then that's enough to get a rating. Might my opinion change later with new software? Sure, and Pinside allows for changing ratings.

Not sure I understand your point? Like I said, why worry about the ratings. They mean nothing. My rating of WoZ shouldn't mean anything to you. You also had a '10' rating on WoZ as well but since removed it.

Owner ratings on these new pins are based mostly on protecting their investment.Prices on lower rated new pins like TF,XM, and AV have dropped for sure.

Prices on TF, AV and XM dropped because they each have inherent problems and are lesser games. Transformers' many issues are long and well documented. Avengers will never be able to code out of those 3-piece, wobbly, ball momentum killing ramps and design flaws and the Hulk ball hang ups that are absurd. XM might one day be able to code itself out of the doghouse, but that car is still stuck in the ditch.

This "protecting their investment" argument is silly. There is such a small percentage of pump and dumper/flipper action that is actually going on, that it is statistically insignificant and not worthy of the hoards of time taken up around here talking about it. This is not a spectacularly hard diagnosis to make: people like new games and tend to go into a honeymoon period with a NIB purchase. Sometimes that honeymoon never ends (ACDC). Sometimes it ends badly (Avengers).

I don't own it, but I'll agree that's its the best machine I've played. Love it!!!

I really dig Metallica but its not even the best pin I've played. Won't be #1 for long...
