Nice...Metallica has L's X2 (in your thread subject)

#3 10 years ago

I hope those aren't Stern's booth babes.

#4 10 years ago

Promoting 'through the never' ....but through the never isn't in the pin shame

#5 10 years ago

Get those f'n shoes off the games and for Christ sakes why are they touching each other?!

#6 10 years ago

Those look like the Metallica line of vans shoes. image.jpgimage.jpg

How many people here do you think even know about Vans?

I hope so.

Anytime I talk to anyone over 18 and they never seem to know what Vans are.

#10 10 years ago

Warped your still goes strings. Same bands that were playing ten years ago too

I'm actually wearing VANS right now. Have done since the early 80's.

(not the same pair though. That would be gross.)

They are.

Yeah, just wait for a shoe or box to fall off while someone is playing!

Banger if that bothers you...what does this do to your shoe touching phobia?

I'm going to guess that he was concerned w/ the games touching, not the shoes.

What software was running on them?

No Idea. It's not posted. If I have Time Today I'll drop by and ask.

Cosplay pics from the show...

(not a slide show)

We gotta get these folks together at a big pinball show. It would be a perfect merging of cultures. Imagine CAX with all these folks added in (in a larger room). Best show ever.

Do you mean under 18?

No, over.

Really.

I wonder if anyone has ever gone crazy with a sword and chopped a bunch of people up?

Like they sometimes do on the subway in Japan.

#24 10 years ago

I am over 18 and know what Vans are, for the record.

If they listen to Jodies fake ass sentiment they might.

Same here!

When I was 18 in senior year of HS, I was rocking a pair of SK8-Hi Hosoi shoes.

I've always known what vans are but never bought a pair.

Vans warped tour anyone?

Getting Back on Topic

Here's a short Video I shot on preview night
http://www.dailymotion.com/video/x126dkh_metallica-pinball-machines-at-sdcc-2013_videogames

I have more, but They're on another camera, so I'll have to edit / upload them later.

Quoted from Bearded_Warrior:

I asked on Saturday, the guy at the booth said he didn't know which version by number, but it was the most current one.

#29 10 years ago

Smart to show the Pros. Cheaper, and frankly that hammer ...

I think it's safe to assume they're going after first time buyers. Not a lot of pinheads there. Software version won't make much difference.

Turns out MET wasn't the only 'pin' there.

I'm going to assume that the prices listed on that page are MSRP. They even have an LE type upgrade with 'force feedback'.

If was definitely not the newest version as neither Seek & Destroy or add a ball were in that software.
