Lots of the standard 'LOTR plays too long' comments in here. As silver_spinner said, it's all about how you set the machine up.
Metallica is actually a long playing game as well with many multiballs. It's not too hard to put up a few hundred million on MET, and that takes a while.
Both are fantastic games, two of the best ever.
