I'd like to thank Steve for making the trip down to the Southern Pinball Festival in Orlando a few weeks ago. It was great to finally meet him and at the same time I picked up a bundle of all of his Metallica lighting mods (minus his brand new sideart/UV lights). Steve is a great guy who is very passionate about pinball. He is one of the guys that we are lucky to have in the hobby as he truly cares about making our games look as awesome as possible. His new sideart/uv lighting for Metallica was very cool, something I've never seen before.

The lighting mods include the "drop the hammer" mod, apron flashers, snake, and scoop lights. To anyone thinking about buying these mods, don't hesitate, as they really add to the game. My absolute favorite is the apron flashers which are tied to the Sparky flashers, they are badass looking. That one was actually the one I was least interested in, but in the end I think I like it the most, it just adds a lot to the look of the game, since those flashers can go off quite a bit. The hammer lighting mod is my second favorite, adds a nice touch to the hammer.

Anyway, since it's the holiday season, I just wanted to give thanks to Hemi!

Thanks Flashburn.... I always like meeting follow Pinsiders and talking to them about mods and pinballs. I do want to say a BIG THANKS for Asylum (Kevin) for helping me at the show, I couldn't if done it without him and his help.

I had a great time at the Southern Pinball Festival, Leon puts on a great show and it is growing. Next year he is getting 3 times as big of area for this show. I talked so much my voice did not return for a week .

Here are a few pictures of the Metallica mods that Flashburn installed into his machine.

AWESOME! Seen these off on the refinery's website. I wanna get those side panel deacals, do you have to take the PF out to install these? Maybe just raise the PF up and install? thanks
