The cross sticker on the first drop target on my MET is constantly getting chewed up. Anyone else dealt with this and have a fix?

I have an extra sticker, that's not the problem. The problem is that even if I put that on, it will get chewed up.
It's HUO. I've had it for a year and it gets played several times a week.
