Data East, 1990Here we go again.. 
I've soldered a remote battery holder to the able board with BN batteries.
The error "Memory Failure" still appears..
The original battery holder had evidence of leakage on it. I suppose adding a remote holder didn't make a difference. 
I hate LEAKAGE!
As a trial n error I could also remove a working (no leakage) board from a working RoboCop & try that..
