My ball lock was very flaky on Twister so I replaced the membrane switch (link below so you can see the switch). New one has same issue. I also re flowed the diode board they go into. Any other suggestions?

For the benefit of anyone who reads this in the future...
I lined the membrane switch up perfectly to where the prior one was lined up. After a lot of troubleshooting I concluded that the switch should be lined up closer to the bottom of the trough... and doing this fixed my issue completely. Why the old switch worked in its place for a long time I'll never know...

Sorry to spring an old thread back to life but I'm having a similar issue I'm about to tackle. How was the switch secured in the trough?
It was a long time ago so I’m not entirely sure but I think it may have been stuck to the bottom with double sided tape?

I figured it has been a while and probably not fresh in the memory. Wish me luck

Good luck!

I’m not familiar with Twister but the link you have to the membrane switch is the same one I bought about a year ago to replace in my Stern Striker Xtreme. I just peeled off the plastic backing and it was self adhesive. I had to replace the old one as it was bubbling up and the last 2 locks wouldn’t register. I had tried glueing down the old one but had no luck. This new one has worked flawlessly for almost a year.
