Got kinda a neat story about those machines.... Just to the right of where those are, across the aisle was the greatest STTNG i have ever seen/played. Me and a friend just happened to get on it, with noone waiting behind us, so we got in about 6 or 7 games in a row. As were playing the greatest (imo) Ritchie/Freres pin, who walks by but Steve Ritchie and Greg Freres. Of course Dennis Nordman, (who has been manning his Whoa Nellie machines all day), sees them, and says hi. They all say hi to each other, and of course Dennis asks Steve if he wants to play his machine, and Steve says of course. So what followed is gonna be my greatest expo memory. Watching Steve Ritchie playing Dennis Nordmans home brew machine. It was so awesome, and Steve is a really good player. I was standing right next to Dennis, when he takes out his camera, and turns to me and says, "I guess you gotta get a pic of Steve playin your pin, eh?"
Was such a cool experience, and I'm so glad I went.
BTW, pictures don't do those Whoa Nellie! machines justice. They are absolutely gorgeous.
