So I've finally brought my melody out to restore and I like to get the games working 100% before we start but my melody has had an issue since I got it. When the holes are lit for extra ball they dont add and knock. The holes score correctly and the lights all go off when landed in but it doesnt pop an add a ball. It hits the knocker and adds a ball when the scoring levels of 1k and 3k are hit so I knowthat part works :/ Ive cleaned both relay banks and still no luck. Any ideas of what might be going on? Any help is much appreciated.

Does that machine have a bonus unit? or an alternating relay? start there?

There will be a relay bank that may have a series bar and/or switch that makes when you have achieved all the colors or whatever is required for earning the extra ball. Start there and inspect for this switch making properly.

Fixed! Rust on top of the "ball lockin relay" causing it not to engage properly.
