Greetings.....
I'm doing a playfield swap on my Medusa. Somehow I have an orphan metal part that I don't know where it goes. I take tons of pictures as I disassembly parts but it appears I missed this one. Or maybe not..... First question is this from the Medusa? If so, where does it go?

I've searched parts lists, parts stores, and other restorer's pictures, but am striking out.

Thanks in advance.

For what it's worth, I am doing the same playfield swap. Reinstalling the surface parts as we speak. My upper flippers have the same washer between the bat and the playfield. Looking at the old playfield, I do see some indentations and wear where the washers rubbed against the playfield. The wear isn't bad and I didn't notice it until I read this post. Not sure about factory assemble since this game has had at least three owners.

Chosen_s and anyone else...... Could you share what exact colors and type of paints, you used to paint the cabinet and do the stencil? I'm a novice at painting and trying to figure the best way to go. Got the cabinet primed and ready to start the top cover painting. Thanks.

Oh and yes, I had to drill out some of the new playfield holes as well

Quick question about the diagnostics/self test....When you go to the lamp flashing test, do the skill shot (Gorgon) lamps flash in sequence with the other lamps? Mine are not flashing at all in self test and are not working in normal game play either (except the lower one). Trying to debug this.

Yes, the rear panel lamps are flashing but not the skill shot ones. I did a playfield swap so I must have a wiring issue on these. Thank you.
