Old one had a good run being from 1990...
Had bridged the gap with a portable A/C in the bedroom (rest of the house got up to 90+ at times), so I've been working by turning my bed into a table with a pinball box, and crammed the 3D printers in there as well 
Pretty silly situation, but should hopefully be back to normal here by tomorrow.

guys guys guys gals guys. I bought Hangry's machine and it came with the mod kit he'd already ordered. After spending all weekend swapping to fresh decals , waxing the playfield and getting it generally prepped and worthy, I stayed up late last night to install this wonderful kit.
TLDR; Glorious.
Amazingly easy to install and it adds so much to the machine. I swear the next game after I installed it set a new GC score. Like adding pinstripe on an old (awesome) van, it just feels faster. Since installing, my shots are more accurate, my nudges more subtle, and every bounce has been going my way.**
There is nothing I can say that didn't already get said in the SDTM install video. The back wall with the portal and the power box that fits over the TK lock opto is gorgeous. The lighting effects are on point, the little flashing power box earned a chortle on first boot. The sensory tank looks great. Overall the package adds some appreciated "bulk" to the back of the machine and it feels much more substantial... kinda like how Medieval Madness feels more dense than AfM? anyway I love it. The additional height of the back-right balance out that tall projector screen.
I'm a sucker for physical ball locks and smooth ramps. It's what brought me to the machine in the first place and I still get great, framed views of the TK lock.
Overall my favorite change is to the feel of the left "orbit" shot. You still get plenty of visibility on the right ball return as the ball comes back down to you, but at the same time the way it obscures the back wall makes that shot feel even more magical, like the ball levitated up into the ramp. It's additive in a way I did not expect.
in summary, I'm a Medisinyl customer forever. Like and Subscribed.

Thank you for the glowing review and the photo.
Looks like that set fits 100% as intended, and hopefully that's the case for most without any tweaking necessary.
Happy to learn that you also "feel" the difference in the left orbit--it's one of the aspects I was hoping would connect with others (something about the brief obstruction [allowing imagination to wander and perhaps assign an entity to the ball], factory spinner sound, and laser in sync [tracking the ball to an extent] that works well together)

One photo shows back walls ready for wiring for both run #2 & run #3. Other shows some wiring for ~250 sets (found backbox connectors with leads. but the flasher ones are hand assembled).
I'll send messages out sometime this weekend for run #2 (aiming to ship Tuesday).
Also have been working on 15 Elvira sets this week, which should ship sometime next week.

These are taking a very long time to make (about 16 hours labor per set was the earlier estimate [with print time of ~35+ hours for each set--back wall assembly alone is ~20 hours to print with the platforms, railings, and gate.]). Unfortunately I don't see how 10 per week would ever be possible with just the two of us (and I likely need more machines regardless, which I'm working toward). I may also hire more help eventually to tackle sanding and prep if it works out. As it stands, I could see 7 a week being possible once adapted to, and more with additional help (I do have a friend available).
Will be a bit faster once Elvira sets are no longer being made alongside these (again, final run call on those by Sept.).
Aiming to find more ways to speed it up as we go along without reducing quality (as it's been thus far, these are a bit underpriced for the time/expense, but pricing won't change for anyone on the list, and it should hopefully work out as we further optimize).
So far, I've gotten a belt sander (though most sanding still has to be done by hand), updated a piece of the set for easier prep, saved time by setting up a cutting machine to cut the hazard decals (may set that up for the power box decal as well), changed to spraying the color for the railings (originally hand painted twice after primer), cut out one dark purple paint stage on the vines that couldn't be detected (still has a magenta stage, which was what could be seen in hand underneath the various yellow/pink highlights), and will be considering other things.
I also ordered a larger, faster printer (2022 model) to try out that should arrive today (may get another if it works out). That would bring me up to 6 good quality machines (7 if I get another), and two lesser ones for certain parts and prototyping (the ones that I used for everything up until Dec. 2019).

Bambu lab has just released a massively fast printer (although it has yet to hit the market widely, so quality at these speed is an unknown quantity). It's called Carbon X1. Once released, might be worth for you to take a look at to assess if it can save you printing time. Also, it has a multispool holder and automated spool selector for multi material printing, migjt be useful to combine colors to save potentially on painting time.
Alternatively, there's mold printing using resin printer, which you can then reuse as a mold using liquid Silicon (or even liquid PLA if you have an injection system) , but that probably requires a fair bit of engineering to adjust the parts so they can be molded

I'll look into it, though smoothing and detailed painting is a large part of what helps break the 3D printed mod stigma, and it wouldn't be acceptable to me to leave bare prints with solid colors where painting makes sense.

Ah I wasn't implying not to sand nor paint, more as to avoid a primary coat of a given color. But I'm really not an expert in that area.
ABS printing and acetone vapor for smoothing would be a fast alternative to sanding PLA prints, but requires an enclosure for the printer (need a heat chamber and proper filtering, ABS is really not suitable for your lungs).
Run #2 has been shipped.
Run #3 will ship sometime next week.
Rest of this week we'll be finishing up the current Elvira run (shipping Saturday).

Of course next in line would get an unclaimed set when/if that happens (easier to wait until the next shipping day before doing so, which also gives some extra time for someone that may not have seen my PM yet).

Thanks for the updates- really look forward to this mod. Glad to see my name on your list. Back in the day (two years ago?!) I would eagerly anticipate new game releases. Now I follow and really enjoy the new really creative mods you and several others are manufacturing. Keep up the great work!
By the way, I saw on this thread that there was a gargoyle update for Elvira HOH? I bought the set and gave away my gargoyle because it kept interfering with VUK ball flow- yeah I used a Dremel and had a top pinball service guy look at it and we could not get it to work. So….another buddy who now has my gargoyle on his game routed at a local arcade has no issues with it at all. My game looks naked without it. If you think I am a candidate for your new one, please put me on the list.

I should update the instructions, as it would be worth noting that the laser projection can be adjusted to taste by spinning the lens clockwise.
It should look fine on any setting, but mentioning it here as it looks like yours could get a more dispersed array of beams if desired (hard to tell with the lights on around it).

I am number 252, i just got my pro stranger things and was able to buy a nos uv kit from seller of the machine, so i do not need the uv kit. just the base kit. you are doing a awesome job on these. they look absolutely fantastic. thank you again. bill

He is not selling the UV kit. If you have the UV kit one less piece of mounting hardware is needed. You can update your order to "pro with UV kit now.
