Just got a gorgeous MM yesterday. Cleaned it up and added LEDs and new apron cards, that’s about all it needed. The only issue I am sometimes experiencing is that the Tolls (left mainly) don’t align squarely with their holes (pic). So much that sometimes the left one will not go down all the way until it is hit with a ball. I’ve examined the carriage and mechanism, but can’t figure out a way to adjust this short of some sort of spacer along the inside edge of the bracket???
Am I missing something simple here? I haven’t been able to find reference to this adjustment in the manual or online. If anybody has suggestions or has dealt with this before, please let me know!
Thanks,
Mike

Last pic is my daughter after destroying her first castle!!!

Yeah, she loves it!

I wouldn't mind the crooked trolls if it didn't occasionally get stuck

I pulled the entire mech out this afternoon and cannot find a way to adjust short of using some sort of spacer to hold the carriage more centered

Thanks for the ideas, but both the collar and the junction of the two piece plunger are fine. I looked closer when it got stuck and it appears that the small loop on the spring that holds the lid on the carriage is what was getting stuck. If only I could rotate the entire carriage slightly it would be perfect, but at least it works. I may try a plastic shim to hold the carriage centered but I'd have to find something thin, smooth, and strong...
