I listed this as a "power" issue, but not sure if that's the problem or not.

Was having a game and right in the middle of it, the power just went out.

I have it connected to a surge protector, and nothing else in the house went off.

Here's a video I took of what happens now when I turn it on:

Anyone know what this might be?

Quoted from LTG:

I'd start by going through the reset check list. http://www.pinwiki.com/wiki/index.php?title=Williams_WPC#Game_resets If it happens again.
A one time event could be your AC had a brief dip. Crap happens especially in Summer when everybody had the air cranked.

Cheers!

That's a pretty extensive list to go through.

Hoping maybe someone has had this exact issue and might be able to help narrow it down.

Just had a quick game, and when I started multi-ball, it crapped out on me.

Turned it off/on, and then it played like this:

Seeding all of the cables right now. Someone mention that it could be battery leakage. Here is a photo of the battery compartment. Looks like there is a little bit of blue stuff in there but not sure enough that it would be causing a problem.

How do the pictures look?

Quoted from LTG:

Battery damage on the holder. If it's on the holder, it is likely underneath. I'd get that fixed ASAP.

Just reseated all connectors and ribbon cables and now the game boots and plays without sound or display!

Quoted from LTG:

Connectors all facing the right way ? In the right spots ? Ribbon cables red stripe pin one each end and not off by a row ?

Noticed the A/V board does not have a red LED on, but other boards do. Does this indicate it's not getting power?

Got the board out. Does it look like it has corrosion damage?

Quoted from LTG:

Yes. Remove the battery holder and see what is going on.

Just snip the metal legs?

Here it is...

Quoted from LTG:

Red circle - stuff that needs to be removed, board repaired and parts replaced.
Yellow lines - area that needs to be checked if damage seeped that far.
I'd have a pro look it over.

Thanks Lloyd!
