I'm looking for the post that attaches to the top of the left slingshot plastic. I believe it runs through the playfield and also allows the slide rail to attach to the underside. Not the star post, but rather the metal post inside. Possibly female on both ends? It's for a friend, I do not have the game with me. There is currently a 'wrong' slotted screw there and it's difficult to remove. It's possible that the slide rail mount and post are not the same piece, but just close to each other.

Any information would be helpful! I checked the manual, and couldn't find it.

Thanks!

The slide rail does attach to the bottom of the playfield using the same bolt that goes through the top of the left slingshot plastic that also attaches to the left wireform.

It is female on both ends. (EDIT: Male on both ends)

Thanks! That looks male on both ends, right? Let me root around online for a part number. Thanks for the photos!

didn't think to check the size on each end, brb!

The post looks just like that one except it's an 11/32 nut on top and bottom with a 5/32 nut in the middle part. The 5/32 sits on top of the star post.

EDIT: Suppose metric would probably help more? So the ends use 8.5mm nuts with a 4mm nut attached to the post.

Like this one, except it needs to be 3" long
