Williams, 1997i'm confused. if you're using the cab protectors to protect the decals, but you're cutting the decals away to prevent wrinkling, what's the point of protecting something that you're just cutting off and "destroying" anyway? why not just use no protector, and don't cut up the decals?
I think the issue is the legs cause the decals to wrinkle where they are attached because of movement, so by cutting the decals where it cant be seen, if there is any movement of the legs and or the decal underneath, it wont cause it to wrinkle further up where it can be seen

Yep ! I am not going to give the decal any chance to move. It is not a big deal to cut a small portion of the decal off.

Jon, the foot print of the protector is smaller than the leg foot print . I would rather cutout the leg protector than the foot print of the leg.
