Quoted from kcZ:

Im a bit concerned that MBr will get old in a hurry. If I play TZ like I do Met, it would be beyond old.

It will.... MB is fun, but it is $3K fun from a rules perspective. It has a ton of charm, but once that wears off, you are stuck with a pretty easy game.

Xmen is the opposite. Not a lot of charm, but a ton of depth and a lot of shots. If you liked the layout of Funhouse, you will like Xmen, it is basically a mirrored Funhouse.

I only sold my Xmen Pro to Deaconblooze because I was pretty heavy with games with deep rules at the time. It will make Metallica seem shallow.

Quoted from Deaconblooze:

I'm planning to bring XM Pro to MGC. If you're going, make sure to give it some plays. Shoot me a PM and I can meet up with you and explain some of the rules. It's crammed full of shots, has at least 4 multiballs, and 2 different sets of modes (heroes and villains). It is a really cool game.
If you do go the route of MBr - make sure to hit up kingpingames.

Take Deacon up on his offer... Having someone get you pointed in the right direction on Xmen is a good idea.

It would be best if you played while he explained what to shoot, if he had to make the shots, you would never see what the game has to offer...

Quoted from kcZ:

e. How much more is it to get Monsters of Rock?

Not much at all.... you just complete each character. It really is simple, there are no missed shots that punish you.

Getting to Lymans Lament is the real challenge....

Quoted from Russell:

Here's my XMLE for sale for what I paid for it.

KcZ, I had a game shipped from Russell within the last 8 months and it arrived in perfect condition. He is a top notch seller with super nice games, and did a great job wrapping the game up. I got white glove delivery (game shipped on legs) from Colorado to my doorstep for right around 300-ish (I can't remember the exact price, but that is close)..... Just an FYI

Quoted from Rarehero:

Keep this in mind: MBr depreciation would be because it’s still in production. A game in production can never sell for more used. X-men has been out of production for 4 or 5 years & pretty much guaranteed will never get a vault. It doesn’t have a Premium. Theoretically a game like that SHOULD have creeped up in value...the fact that it keeps dropping is telling of its true reputation as a game.

I havent seen the needle move downwards on Xmen in a couple of years. The LE is going to move in the 4800-5500 range depending on what is has and where it is at, and the Pro will move around $3800-$4200. It has been this way for awhile now. If it is taking longer to move now than previously, that is because the market is being flooded with high dollar pins. There is only so much money to go around on these. Anything at $4k and above is sitting a lot longer than it used to.
