I have recently reassembled a Maverick that has been apart for a while and none of the optos are working. I took them off and reflowed them, no change. All six LEDs are lit up, I can see that. But break the beam and none of them register a switch hit. If I jumper their respective pins on the MPU, I get a switch hit.

What am I missing here?

Well, it turned out to be the receiver connectors not making good connection. Repinned them and problem is solved.
Which is odd, as those LEDs never flickered. But whatever.
