I have finally been able to locate both of the original Owner's Manual and Service/Parts Manual for the Mattel "Las Vegas" home model pinball machine. I've scanned and digitally cleaned up the scans to pristine condition. This includes a complete machine schematic scanned at 600 d.p.i. and all on one 11" by 17" page. I've been able to add a lot more repair information too. All over at pinwiki:

Nice man... you've been on a roll with those manuals the last couple months.

Pictures of the underside of the playfield are now posted here:

It looks like Mattel made the playfield out of that same black plastic that Arachnid did for the plastic electronics drawer on the English Mark Darts 6000 series machines.

If you save the playfield pictures and then zoom in, you will see the inserts are snapped in.

Thanks for your work on documenting this one-of-a-kind machine! I just purchased one of these in what I believe is fully working order (the owner didn't know the details of starting the game) I didn't know the process for getting the modes started until I did some research at home. I'll be picking it up later this week weather permitting.

I have a Las Vegas bought it 25 years ago. Good job researching the machine. Just joined Pinside, I could have been some help. I gave 25.00, near perfect condition, wonder what they are going for today.

Anyone else have a Mattel Las Vegas pinball machine?

I have one that I’m going to be giving to a local club. Used it to get comfortable working on pinball machines, and I’m done with it now.
