Williams Big Ben. Everything else is working on the game, I just cannot figure this out. The problem is sometimes when the last ball drains an extra ball is given.
This evening I was able to narrow it down some. When the match unit is on 60 and the last ball drains the extra ball relay gets tripped and an additional ball is kicked back out. I tested this over a half dozen times I’d get to last ball, manually place match unit on 60, drain ball, another one kicked back out. I know the switch on score motor 2-long dwell switch C is in the circuit for this bc if I block it from making contact when the scenario is set up the game ends appropriately. I cannot figure out what is making a connection through the match unit to allow the extra ball relay to trip when ball drains to outhole. This only happens on the last ball, setting the scenario up for balls 2-5 and it advances to next ball and extra ball relay is not tripped.

If the game is set up for true add-a-ball play and the match feature is enabled, this is normal. I had a "Blue Chip" which did the same thing. On one game, I got three consecutive extra balls after the last ball drained. I think it's a cool feature. You can fix it by simply disabling the match feature.

Great to know, this was driving nuts trying to figure it out.

The strange this is, you never see the match number, because the game continues before it can be displayed.
Only when you don't match will you see the number displayed at game over.
