MPU J4 P7 to Driver J4 P8 continuous solenoid signal for Q15. Unlikely to be any other issue beside connectors. Extremely common problem. MPU J4 gets ate up by the battery leaking and single sided driver boards get cracked solder.

    Quoted from Pookiegus:

Does it matter that Test Point 2 on the new rectifier is putting out only 8 Volts DC? It's brand new so I'm not sure why it's not putting out 230V Pin 5 on J3 of the rectifier is putting out 190 Volts DC. . .

The test point has a series resistor for safety. Shouldn't really change the voltage reading between those two points.

When the filter capacitor on the driver board is out of circuit the voltage will read much lower. With the driver board connected the voltage should come up to 230vdc. Same reason the 11.9vdc reads more like 16vdc when the driver board and its filter capacitor is connected.

If you have the driver board connected and the hv is only at 190vdc the filter cap is bad or out of circuit. The HV section has an isolated ground return wire.

With no filter cap in circuit the display will have a rolling effect.
