I have a Mata Hari SS that has the back panel light "Same player shoots again light" that is always on. what is the problem and can a novice like me fix it.

1. You appear to have a bad Triac (EDIT: SCR) on the Lamp Driver Board.
2. Only you can answer that one.
To help; Can you solder electronic components? Can you read a schematic diagram of a circuit board? Can you read a basic wiring diagram? If yes to all three, Iād say you can.

looks like the SCR is "Q3" on the lamp driver board from the shoot again in the backbox
