I bought the Big Daddy for $325.

After I won the Big Daddy the auctioneer, Jay, was trying to be funny and asked if they called me Big Daddy. I said they will after this. The crowd close by got a bigger laugh out of my response than Jay got all afternoon.

Quoted from jrpinball:

That's amazing. I thought that game would go much higher. Hard to find. What kind of condition was it in?

The Eager Beaver backglass was extremely flaked and the cabinet was repainted a solid color. The playfield and plastics were good. Didn't have much wear at the kickouts at the bottom sides of the playfield.

I was considering it but wasn't going to spend even $300 on it once I saw it in person. I'm not a fan of drop front cabinets either. I Bought the Big Daddy instead.

Auction items on CL 4 different pins your choice $750.00 each looks like $400.00-$500.00 pins.

Those four games were presented in a common lot and the high bid was $600. The guy took all 4 for that price.

After sales tax it looks like a lot of work to make $100 per game. Maybe he has buyer's remorse.

Quoted from Damonator:

The original list was provided to Jay before he was given possession of the games. Once he got the games, there was one game on the original list that wasn't there - Darling. But there was an additional game that wasn't listed - El Dorado.

Any idea what happened to the El Dorado? I don't recall seeing it there.

Quoted from Damonator:

Don’t know - it very well could have been the El Toro or El Rancho and he just got the name wrong when I asked about the Darling.

That makes sense.

Quoted from wedgeheadjunkie:

Correction -- The game I bought at the Tulsa auction was "TOP HAT" by Williams, also a woodrail -- but NOT "ARROWHEAD" after all. I was confused, as both games have yet to arrive but were recently purchased from separate sellers.
Sorry, the "Arrowhead" game I bought recently was from another unrelated seller, and mine should have the caps with it.
The game hasn't arrived yet, but should be here in a week or so.
Thanks!
LZ

Larry,

If I can ask, Top Hat went for a whole lot more than anyone around me at the auction expected. Is it that fun of a game or is it more the rarity of it. Until auction day I had never heard of nor seen one.
